Excellent steaks and the Branzino was amazing!! Everything was delicious and the service here was fast and friendly. The burgers are huge! Prime Rib was excellent as well. Desserts were all perfect and a great way to end a fabulous meal.

Their salsa is incredible—fresh, bold, and full of flavor. The tableside guacamole is out of this world, and that’s not even including the smoking peppers — those are a whole separate experience and just as amazing.
Every dish is consistently delicious, and our server was extremely attentive and gave us the best service—friendly, professional, and genuinely made the experience even better. We never felt rushed and felt truly taken care of the entire time.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and unforgettable service, Charro Steak is a must. I can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely excellent, exactly the kind of vibe and quality I want at this price point. A thousand stars if I could. Jessica gave some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. Food was excellent: steak was cooked exactly perfectly and was super flavorful, and everything else about the meal was interesting: tableside caesar, Billy Dunn-style oysters, the Sonoran-themed sides and cocktails. I have a new favorite restaurant. We were there just last night and I already want to go back. Drop everything you’re doing and go immediately, if you’re in the mood for something new and interesting.

Very good steak and fish. It was our first time here, and the experience was very polished. Table side guac and ceviche were well made and the dry aged ribeye and halibut were very well done. Portion sizes are on the larger side. The real gem was the pumpkin tamale for dessert – that was unexpected and delicious. Prices are higher, however on par with other restaurants in the same location. We will definitely go again

We decided to try this out for their oyster selection but they only had one option at the moment. They were delicious, but so tiny. The brussel sprouts were overcooked and super salty. The ceviche had great flavor, but the tuna chunks were way too big compared to the rest of the chopped ingredients, making it hard to keep on a chip without it falling off. The ceviche also came with saltines (?) in addition to chips, which I just thought was weird.
The service was super slow. We went at 3:45pm on a Tuesday and there were only two tables dining; but it took 15 minutes to get a beer and a glass of wine from the time we ordered them— the bartenders were unaware a ticket even printed. Then it took about 45 minutes to get our three apps (two of which are literally raw).

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at Charro Steak last night and it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambience was warm, inviting, and ideal for a special occasion. Our server, Braxton, was amazing, incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. He truly elevated the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a milestone.

We had a great experience here at the newest location! Loved the atmosphere and service was great. Our waitress was extremely kind and gave up a couple suggestions, as well as the specials and oysters of the week. All the food we had was really good. My Carne Asada was mouthwatering, and cooked just how I like. We definitely had a better experience at this location over the one downtown!

We have now been to both locations and have only positive things to say. Starting with the drinks, the selection is wide and the quality is top notch. The food is incredible! My steak and lobster were always cooked perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a fantastic choice for a dinner out in Tucson.

Had an amazing outdoor lunch at Charro Steak! We stumbled upon this restaurant while actually waiting for a reservation at another local spot. It’s safe to say we found our new favorite spot! The oysters are the freshest I’ve had in Arizona, the Ahi Tuna was cooked to perfection, and fresh (you can tell it’s never frozen). Our Server Chloe was the highlight of our afternoon. Taking us through the menu and helping us make impossible choices. I would definitely stop in to experience the dedication that Charro has toward great food and fabulous service! Thank you!

I had the surf and turf enchiladas and they were excellent, especially the lobster enchilada, which was my favorite. David ordered the ribeye and said it was the best he’s ever had.
Wonderful food and a great experience all around. We will definitely be back!
