For my birthday, I requested of the hubs to take me to Preston’s for a steak dinner. I first messaged Cody (Preston’s wife) with a request for a special table which is off to itself. She contacted manager Jacqui and they were ready for us when we arrived. DARBY, our server, was a ” perfect fit” for us and gave me just the experience I was hoping for! THANK YOU for ONCE AGAIN providing us with THE BEST dining experience in town!

We’ve been here a couple times and loved the food. The pimento cheese app was excellent, service was exceptional each time we’ve been. Most recently our party got the prime rib which was loaded with flavor and tender, you could cut it with your fork. I had the shrimp & grits, I would highly recommend this dish if this is your sort of dish.

Went to see a friend’s performance and as usual Morgan Hudson was very good. We ordered just a bottle of wine and stayed about an hour an a half. Server did check on us several times. We just had dinner someplace else but we will be back because the menu looked great and affordable prices.

Stopped here for lunch based on local recommendations. When we came in for lunch on Friday the place was almost empty but despite being empty the waitress was super nice! We sat down and she took our order, The Positives: The drinks were crispy, and their Reuben Sandwich was really good! But the star of the show was the Crab Dip, I could have ordered that forever. The Negatives: The amount of flies in that place was crazy! There was so many I had to stop eating because they landed on all of our food. Not to mention my wife ordered Clam Chowder and not only did it not look like Chowder, it didn’t taste like it either. While the overall experience was ok I don’t think it’s worth coming back again.

My wife and I Stopped in today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Greeted right away and sat at a table with a partial water view. Being from New England, that was a nice feel. Our waitress was a very sweet young lady who was very attentive and accommodating. Really wish I could remember her name because she was excellent. The food was by far the best that we have experienced since moving down here. We were served very quickly and each plate was prepared with attention to detail. From the chicken and waffles to the prime rib sandwich, all were excellent. Too bad that we don’t live closer, we would absolutely be regulars. We will definitely be back again, well worth the 1 hour drive.

We had an amazing dinner here (plus leftovers!) The short rib dish was so tender and the crab rangoon nachos were phenomenal and full of flavor! Our waiter Cody was helpful in explaining the menu and super attentive. We’ll definitely be back when visiting the Crystal Coast!!

The server seemed to try her best. Not sure if the waitress was writing our groups orders wrong. Or if the chef was messing them up. Either way, we had a group of maybe 12 people. Food was brought out slowly not at once. When the food did finally come out you could tell it had been sitting for a while. My group had ordered some sandwiches. All of them had soggy bread. They had been sitting too long after being made and not delivered to the table. Fish items were way over cooked and dry as dirt. Prime Rib sandwiches over cooked with soggy bread.
Maybe a bad night for the kitchen, or maybe an every night kind of thing. Either way, not returning.
