Jams Old Market is an excellent spot for a relaxed Sunday brunch. Arriving around 11 a.m., the restaurant was not too crowded yet, so it was easy to settle in and enjoy the cozy Old Market atmosphere. The vibe felt casual but polished, making it a comfortable choice for both a laid-back weekend meal and a slightly “treat yourself” outing. Service during this visit was truly top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering, and they kept drinks topped off while checking in just enough to make sure everything was on point. Food came out impressively fast—about 15 minutes after ordering—which is especially nice for brunch when you are hungry and ready to dig in. The food itself was great from start to finish. The homemade potatoes were a standout: perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and a fun change from the usual breakfast hash browns. Every plate at the table looked appealing and tasted just as good, which matched the restaurant’s reputation for flavorful American comfort food with a twist. The strawberry French toast was the star of the meal. The bread was thick and custardy with a light crisp edge, topped with strawberries, sauce, and whipped cream for a rich but balanced bite. It felt like a signature brunch item—sweet, satisfying, and plated beautifully, especially paired with the eggs on the side.

Stopped in for happy hour while exploring Omaha. Great happy hour… cheap bar snacks and $5 wines . I also decided to get a half salad. They had so many unique salads to choose from. And I loved how the had the half options available. I got the coconut chicken salad and it was honestly one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The flavors were so unique and came together perfectly (I will try to recreate this at home lol). Service was excellent as well. And I loved sitting outside of the patio. It was the perfect fall day.

Our server’s name was Juan and he was fantastic! He was appropriately attentive and engaging. The food came out fairly fast and he kept our drink glasses full for the duration of our visit. At the end of the evening, he helped out with some dessert and our to-go boxes. We will be back!

Staff was very friendly and had great suggestions! Food was delicious and would get it again. The crème brûlée dessert wasn’t all that good I would not get it again.

Great dinner experience! Derek and Cara served with pride! My meal was the Coconut Chicken Salad and Gouda Mac & Cheese did not disappoint! The Coconut Chicken Salad has fried Coconut Chicken, Artichoke Hearts, Avocado, Red Onions, Swiss, Tomatoes, Almonds, Creamy Herb Mustard Dressing and Raspberry Sauce – such a great combination! I will be back!

Jams is a must-have! A simple menu filled with fresh ingredients and flavor. The short rib grilled cheese is delicious! Inside, Jams is a very attractive restaurant, clean and well decorated. The outside seating was nice and shady, I’m a people watcher, so it was perfect.
Karlee was a great server, kind and very attentive.

I never leave bad reviews on places since I believe every restaurant can have mistakes, but this one was just the worst. First off, we had a reservation at 7pm and when we got there at 6:55pm they had us waiting for more than 30 minutes. They finally sat us at 7:35 and brought us a small plate of fries to “compensate”. The food was very fast, i’ll give them that. When it finally came, turns out my burger was burnt. I asked for medium, but cut just tasted so plain and burnt. I tried eating it since I was hungry, but I couldn’t because it just tasted horrible. Overall, horrible experience and don’t recommend coming here at all.

Clarissa was my bartender/server, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended a few different food items to me and we had great conversations. She made the best margarita I’ve ever had!! I indulged in the lobster tacos and HOLY MOLY were the huge. Absolutely delicious perfect amount of sauce and spicy. 10/10 recommend Clarissa being your server!!

They charge 3% for credit card transactions. They are upfront about it and don’t hide it. It’s on the bill. I don’t mind it if they are transparent and honest about it, which they are. My advice, bring cash to save
