Their desserts were just as good as the main courses, sticky toffee was our favourite.
The corner store that is connected to the pub has a great selection.
The staff were very classically British folk, the energy was amazing. Got to see Arsenal win a game!
We will definitely be back.
Very clean toilet, always nice.
Update went for lunch had liver and onions with mashed potatoes, excellent. Added the extra star, can’t be beat. Great food, great price.
We went for Sunday roast and it met and surpassed our expectations… we got the roast beef and the turkey and ohhh my… perfect seasoning and not crazy on the salt….we also had the spotted dick, Bread pudding and golden syrup cake. One of the best meals I’ve had in ages and you have our business again friends… cheers
For 11am on a Monday morning, the place had a decent amount of customers there, with lots more by the time I left.
I was immediately acknowledged upon entry and was straight away shown to a table.
The decor inside has a British feel to it, with British shows playing on the TV’s. The big red double decker bus outside also draws your attention.
As a Brit living in the USA for over 26 years, nothing beats having a proper British breakfast. The food was great, as was the service. The owner, Martin, arrived while I was there and was extremely friendly, just like when I had previously met him during my last visit to the old location.
The British shop in the back area of the restaurant has a large selection of British goodies, including some frozen products.
I really wished I lived closer to the restaurant as the menu has lots of things I would like to try.
The also have entertainment like bingo and karaoke taking place on certain nights.
I highly recommend this place, and can’t wait to visit the next time I’m down that way.
Food was fantastic.
I had liver and onions, mashed potatoes… Perfect!
Great beer.
Karaoke entertainment was fun.
