Loved this little gem of a restaurant not far from Bellingrath. Locally run small restaurant that may seem to be in the middle of no where but it’s definitely worth the stop. From seafood to steaks with quite a bit in between, there is a lot to choose from. The salads are decently priced but come with half a head of iceberg with oversized and limited other veggies but it is a lot and the chicken on it was wonderful. Fried mushrooms are the standard pre-frozen breaded kind. The burger was good and most items seam reasonably priced. It was a packed house full of locals. Having come from another state, if we come back to that area, we will come back there. A very casual dine. Advertisements on tables and metal pull out chairs sort of place. Support local when you can!

Absolutely the best seafood on the Gulf Coast. The crab claws are unbelievable! I had the pick 3 meal with crab claws, crawfish tails, and shrimp plus 2 sides for around $22. The service was amazing as always. I can’t recommend The Lighthouse enough!

Beautiful drive yo this off the interstate gem. Popular with locals. Menu was home cooking with a seafood focus. Lunch prices and value were exceptional. We enjoyed shrimp, catfish and home style vegetables.

I was in the area for work and asked for a good place to eat. Lighthouse was recommended. Walked in and was immediately greeted with one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever witnessed. The service was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly, like we all knew each other. Great food, I ordered the crab grilled crab claws and grilled shrimp with slaw and green beans. Did not disappoint at all. I highly recommend.

A very homey type of atmosphere. Our server (forget her name) was very good, friendly and super attentive. We started with the crab claws and they might well be the best we’ve had on town. I also had a gumbo and it was fine. A little… rouxy, but it was good. I did the pick three combo and my girl got the pick two. We both got the fish and shrimp and both was very good. And I got the crawfish tails and I probably wouldn’t again. I just didn’t think there was much taste. And the place is a little pricier than you might expect. But overall it was very good and we both enjoyed it and we’ll definitely be back
