Just went this evening after not having Applebees in 10+years… I had the OMCheese burger (I’m a cheese o’holic) and wife had the same. Son had kids quesadillas he liked it daughter had pizza she didn’t like it.
The promo burger was good not great, would t recommend unless you’re doing the 2 for $25 like the wife and I did.
Star of the show was our waitress Jordan, she was being trained but she was friendly and gave great advice!
My boneleas wings came out with sour cream instead of blue cheese, she fixed it in a jiffy, and overall gave us awesome service!

Went in for lunch on Sunday. Immediately greeted and sat at a booth in the bar area. Well.. sat there over 20 minutes deciding on what to eat and ultimately decided and realized that not a single soul had even been to the table yet to get drink orders or anything. I set a timer for an additional 5 minutes and we waited while staff walked around us. A couple of times, I even said out loud that you must have to sit at the bar to get service. Still nothing. After my timer went off, we got up and headed to the door. There were three employees at the door. The host and what looked like two managers based on shirts they were wearing. The host looked puzzled as if we couldn’t have already finished. I told all three of them we had been sitting for over 20 minutes and have yet to even be acknowledged. One of the people that looked like a manger said, “I’m sorry”. I replied to her, “No!! You aren’t sorry. If it meant anything to you, you would have made sure we weren’t sitting that long with zero service.”
Applebees in Wilmington closed not long ago, and I am excited about the day the pathetic and incompetent staff close this one. At this point. Just stop trying.
So, yes. We waited over 20 minutes. Way too long, but we gave them a chance. They failed. We left without so much as a greeting or a glass of water.

Everything we tried to order tonight they were out of! No pastas were available nothing with Alfredo sauce or Caspian Cajun sauce. No onions and peppers the list goes on! It was around 6-7pm so not super late, I just dont get it! This is multiple times now. Applebees needs to do better! Put a sign on the door saying what your out of but to seat us wait for all of us to order drinks, get our drinks, then say oh by the way we are out of half the menu!

So we had a reservation for 7pm. Came in, we’re seated. Waitress came and was great. Very nice. Ordered appetizers for the table and after 25 or so minutes ordered food. We got 1 of the 3 appetizers at the hour mark. Five minutes later the food arrived. While it was technically right, it was all in all pretty terrible. The waitress was very apologetic and did her best. The manager came about 10 minutes later and asked how everything was. We were honest with him and his response was “yeah sorry about that we got swamped back there.” Keep in mind there were about 4 people at the bar. And maybe 5 other tables in the restaurant. I have never posted a review like this but I would like to maybe save someone from this type of ordeal.

The food here was good but the restaurant it self was dirty, reeked of alcohol and just a general yuck about it. Im sure if I saw the kitchen I probably wouldn’t have eaten the food. 4 out of 10 wouldnt recommend.

Seated and waited about 10 minutes for waitress. Ordered drinks and she brought them. Did not ask if we were ready to order. Said she’d be back and left. After 15 minutes she had not come back so we told hostess we were leaving. All she said was I’m sorry. They were not busy at all. Now I know why. Ridiculous!

We went to dinner last night. We waited 40 minutes for appetizers that were cold. When we finally were able to get the manager he just stared at us like we were insane saying they were busy I suggested maybe the stop seating until the kitchen caught up. He did not offer any comps even though the appetizers were lukewarm warm.

Me and my mother waited a whole hour for our food just to find out they never put it in lmfao.. pathetic place with pathetic management and staff. ♀️ server was grace. She came over 3 times. Once to get our orders. Once to bring drinks and when we were legit leaving and “apologized”. I looked at her in the eyes many times while being here. We were both polite and patient the entire time. I would not like her as a server again.
