had a buka puasa with my friend tonight. though the food came a little bit late, but it wasn’t a big problem at all.. the atmosphere and environment is clean and friendly, no problem with a little bit of waiting. i really enjoy the service waiter’s friendly attitude, i do remember the waiter had a tattoo on his neck.. he is very friendly and very attentive to food orders. i would totally come again and give him tips next time.. overall 4.7/5 rating from my personal experience

Their customer service was so amazing, from the beginning til the end they gave such a great service, all staff are very friendly and since I’ve made reservations 1 days early, there’s nothing hard to deal with and they try to arrange the best for us to have a good dining at their place, plus it was my mom’s birthday so they also gave such a memorable moment and it really impressed me and my family with their surprise show the food? It was so yumz and i really impressed how they cook their shrimp cuz not every restaurant can do the slice for the “back cleaning”of the shrimp, so yeahhh, everything’s perfect and make me very satisfied and will repeat again thank you Sun Thai Food@KD

We celebrated my mom’s birthday here and had such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and worth it, but what stood out the most was the service. From the branch manager to the service crew, everyone was very attentive and helpful. Since my mom uses a wheelchair, they went the extra mile to assist us and made everything smooth and comfortable. Truly appreciate the team effort! Thank you!

Nice Thai spot in Kota Damansara! Kids loved it — lots of cool Thai stuff to take pictures with, like a real lighted tuk-tuk. Can also find famous Thai street food like Roti Pisang Nutella and others. Not as crowded as when it first opened on a Friday night. Food is okay, got room to improve.

Many restaurants come and go at this very spot – this is what I’ve noticed everytime I pass by. Until Sun Thai Food took over… transforming the corner shop into a Chinese-Muslim restaurant offering various Thai street food.
The iconic tuk tuk is displayed in front of the shop to let people know that they’re selling Thai fares. Another tuk tuk greets patrons inside the restaurant itself. I can see why Sun Thai is so popular – good food at reasonable price.
◾Mango Salad RM15.90 had a good balance between spicy and sour, supported by the crunchiness from peanuts and cashew nuts. I could eat this every time.
◾Rice Set RM15.90 nets Tom yum chicken, white rice and Thai milk tea. The Tomyam soup had a good kick… Simply mix with the white rice.
◾Thai roti pancakes with chocolate and banana was prepared on the spot.
◾Old style bottled green Fanta brought back the nostalgia of the past. As a young kid, I used to drink the carbonated drinks like this.
Note: take advantage of their rice or noodle set during lunch… And for families, they have set meal starting from RM46.90 up to RM299.90.

It’s a beautiful place with Thailand environment. Really love the food here! Authentic Thai taste, fresh ingredients, and great portion. Staff are super friendly and the place feels cozy. Will definitely come again!

All was going good would have rated 5/5, but just one dish and how the waiter manage this ruined the entire dining experience. We enjoyed all the other dish except for the pandan chicken which was DRY and unappetizing. We raised this to the waiter and he brought back the dish (note he did not apologize and only got back to us towards the end of our meal). He said he’d give it to the kitchen and will do it back? Like after our meal and we said to remove it from the bill instead and he said that is not possible…. Okay sure…. We then told him since we had bad experience with the meal itself we asked if we could get something else for the same price…. Note: he did not get back to us until Someone else came probably the manager as he did not wear the uniform and said we cannot give another dish out of the menu plus we only left one piece chicken. There was total 5 pandan chicken each ADULTS took one, had half or near to nothing as it was HARD and had the same reaction hence returned it. The audacity lol, out of the rm281 bill, rm20 is nothing. Sunthai, please train your staff to respect customers and how to handle situation like this. Would have rated 5/5 but a simple situation couldn’t even be handled professionally. Sad.
