Food allergies BEWARE!!!!
We ordered catering from this Chipotle location for a large group that included several vegan guests. We specifically chose the Sofritas to accommodate them, but throughout the evening multiple people found pieces of steak mixed into what was supposed to be a vegan tofu dish.
There were also clear signs of cross-contamination, with cheese mixed into the salsa and corn sides. This was extremely disappointing and concerning, especially for those with dietary restrictions or food allergies.
I would strongly caution anyone with food sensitivities, allergies, or vegan diets to avoid this location, as they do not appear to take food separation or labeling seriously.
We did contact Chipotle as soon as we realize the contamination, and there was zero follow up on their end :

I had a much better experience at this Chipotle than in the past. I used to expect them to be out of something (and they often were) — fajitas, vinaigrette, you name it. This time, though, everything was stocked and the service stood out.
The person who made my food didn’t move the fastest, but it was absolutely worth the wait. He communicated clearly, washed his hands, and even switched to Spanish naturally when requesting rice from the back. He understood the assignment when I asked for a double-wrapped burrito and made the best Chipotle burrito I’ve ever had.
Even with a line of customers, he stayed calm, didn’t take shortcuts, and made sure everything was done right. It was the kind of service that makes you want to come back.

This was so bad. They were out of water cups and small drinks, so we were forced to order larges if we wanted to drink. Then after ordering those large drinks, they had no sodas in the machine except Pibb and Mellow Yellow.
They had no fajita for our burritos.
The chips we ordered looked like they had been kicked around like a soccer ball and tasted stale. We could barely find any to eat our salsa with.
The dining room wasn’t even set up to eat in. We had to take down chairs off a table to eat. It was 5:15pm. Pretty prime dinner time.
To top it off, the garbage cans were all full in the entire restaurant.
Would not go back.

I’ve gone to this location several times over the last year because I work nearby. The portions are always off, the food doesn’t taste as good as it used to, the chips are never salted, and the guac is less to be desired. It’s just not good, guys. Something needs to change. I work over in uptown area so I normally come here to use up any points and do quick pick up orders. To be honest I’ve had a lot of hit or miss meals at this joint. Sometimes the rice has been undercooked or the ingredients don’t blend quite right but today..was something special. .all the ingredients were perfectly harmonious and wanted to give a shout out to the Chef on a slow Tuesday night Jesus (sorry for any mispelling) And of course the wonderful staff tonight (11/11/25) 9:39 pm. . Much appreciated! The tortilla was chewy and delicious, the fatijats where crunchy and bright, and the meat, beans and rice with the sauce……phenomenal. I normally don’t do reviews and even I know Chipotle u get wat u expect….but every once in a while u get that perfect hit! Thank u!

They’re little pickup area is disgusting. It is sopping wet, no rug. There’s chewed up gum on the ground. I told one of the people that works there.They should mop it up , and she says there’s really nothing they can do about it because people keep walking in and out. Then I said you should at least have a rug , they said they don’t have any extra rugs. If someone slips and falls and gets hurt , I guess that’s on them. The manager needs to do better.

There was trash all over the floors, the back counter where the food gets prepared look like the bottom of a dumpster. There was food smeared over the window at the counter where the customers order. The employees appearance did not look any better. Chipotle should be ashamed of this store. This is how you want to be presented? WOW! I will not return to ANY Chipotle in the state of Minnesota ever again.

The place was disgusting. The grill was black burnt, the rice cooker was gross and unclean. Just nasty. I was really surprised considering it was in Uptown on Hennepin. The staff was new. Totally over load the tacos and then smashed together into Foil then a bowl. Then they were short staffed, they made us wait for them to prepare other customers food before checking us out. My bf was so disgusted by the whole thing that he insisted that we leave, so we did…without the food…..neva experienced that at ANY other Chipotle in the USA?????? Terrible experience. 🙁

The food is usually omazing, the staff is usually unomazing. I’ve been here maybe 30 times in the last year and been super dissapointed in portion size/food quality maybe twice. The variation in portion sizes is insane. Sometimes a bowl is enough to make an entire burrito (order a tortilla on the side) and then still have a good chunk left. Sometimes it doesn’t fill up the bowl at all right out of the bag. See photos for difference. I will still go here about once a week and it’s almost always good so it’s 4 stars for me

Busy location, but they get it done. Huge props to the staff here and, of course, their food. Chipotle is my go-to option for flavorful meals that are healthy, cravably delicious, and reasonably priced. The chicken al pastor especially has been hitting lately. So tasty. Also, special shoutout to the berry aqua fresca. I have to dock a star because I ordered through Doordash and the delivery time kept inching later and later until I received my order about an hour after placing it one time, but that was during peak dinner hours on a Sunday. Everything was still delicious as expected after that. I don’t fault them for the delay too much considering how many people are going in and out the doors every day, plus people ordering delivery and pickup on top of that. Chipotles have been seeming more hectic lately. It’s a marvel they’re able to do what they do. That all said, solid experience all around. I’ll be back. I highly respect Chipotle’s attention to quality and sustainability too.
