This was the worst of the worst as far as wendys goes! The place was filthy beyond atrocious, filthy! ALL the floors were greasy! The drink machine had next to no flavors loaded! The bathroom was a petrie dish of disease, bacteria, and viruses! The fries weren’t cooked and the burger was squished and so sloppy, as if it were deep fried but in cold oil. I could almost guarantee one would catch hep c, or worse, in the bathroom and hep b from the food! This store needs the health department in! big waste of money and my time stepping off the highway! Not recommended!

I recently visited the Wendy’s located at 7200 Hoke Rd in Clayton, OH, and decided to share my experience, especially since I’ve been to this location multiple times before. On this occasion, I noticed the drive-thru line was wrapped around the building, which is usually a good sign of their popularity! Since I only wanted a couple lemonades, I opted to go inside to avoid the long wait.

Upon entering, I saw a couple of customers already waiting to be served. The manager, who appeared to be handling the front dining area, was busy bagging orders and taking the next customer’s order. Despite the hustle and bustle, I was served relatively quickly after the lady in front of me. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and a pineapple mango lemonade. There was a slight delay for the pineapple mango lemonade as the manager had to refill the regular lemonade, which I assume is needed for my pineapple mango lemonade drink.

Overall, my wait time was about 15 to 20 minutes, which felt a bit long for just two drinks. While it seemed they might have been understaffed, there were about five people working behind the counter. I’m not sure if that’s standard for a fast-food location, but the staff remained patient and friendly throughout the busy rush.

The inside of the restaurant appeared clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Despite the long lines and the wait, I appreciate the effort the team put into providing good service. I’ll definitely return to this Wendy’s, especially to try more of their menu items!

If this were the only place to stop within a 25 mile radius, just keep driving or stop at the Taco Bell across the street.
It started with us walking in to several people already waiting for their food. My boyfriend and I place our orders and are told it’ll be 6 minutes for fresh tenders. Cool, appreciate it. During the wait we watch them give another customer a different beverage because they ran out of what he wanted, and they didn’t even ask him if what they chose was okay with him. There was a lot of yelling going on in the back and everyone seemed genuinely confused. Needless to say, the 6 minutes turned into 15… we walk out to the car and turns out we were given 1 order of tenders and an oder of cheese fries. My boyfriend goes back in and in met with, we don’t have any tenders ready, it’ll be another 6 minutes…10 minutes later he got the tenders. Something that should have taken 6 minutes took a half hour. They were very well staffed, so that was definitely not the issue.
Not to mention our friends went through the drive through and when they pulled up to the window to order the girl felt it was appropriate to say “my manager told me to tell you she burnt her fingers.”

It was a regular interaction with cashier.
( just there to take your order) I definitely notice a switch in her demeanor once management start motivating the team to stay positive. So awesome to witness for someone who travels through USA and deal with alot of fast food Establishments. GREAT JOB! Food was extra hot and fresh.

This place is the bottom of the barrel as far as fast food….always missing items, out of items. Half the time its cash only and the place is filthy! Corporate evidently doesn’t care because seems to be the theme of their company every location! Wendy’s died when Dave died

The service here is so bad. We went through the drive through and they were shouting at each other as they were talking to us through the order speaker. They rushed us when taking our order to the point of feeling aggressive and giving my friend so much anxiety she just didn’t order anything after being told they didn’t have what she originally wanted in a way that seemed very rude like it was somehow her fault they ran out of food. Once we paid they immediately had us pull up away from the window to wait but still very much in the way of the people who were behind us, who got their food first but were blocked in by us now. Which was awkward for us and probably frustrating for them. There was never any attempt at niceties or being polite. Basic manners would go a long way here. Very disappointed.

It’s 5 below and they require doordashers to come inside for double stacked orders when there are no other customers in sight. Plus all the ice from them not shoveling outside their doors.. I’m good. Unassigned the orders. Thanks

how is this wendy’s not closed yet. i’ve never had a good experience at this location. last week i sat in the drive thru (the only car) for a half hour while the crew blasted music and hung out while i waited for my lukewarm food to be ready. this week we went and got to the speaker and the employee said “one minute” 5 minutes pass and we say we are picking up a mobile order and they said their system was down and to cancel it online… so we ask if we can order at the speaker and wait another few minutes and no one ever replied…. again…. the only car in the drive thru at 8:45pm…… lol

Disgusting store. Dirty at 11 am no customers. 3 people walked past me standing at the counter and not one acknowledged I was there. Floors are greasy slippery. Just an awful atmosphere period.

I waited in line they said I was waiting on potatoes. When I should have been waiting on fresh chicken. They brought me out this cold old chicken for the breakfast #1 meal. The lady act like she dont want to be there. They act so bothered at the drive thru window. No good hospitality at all. The customers haven’t did anything ti them. You dont like your job just stay at home. Or get a new one. It’s too early to be that bothered and rude for no reason.
