I placed a mobile order on January 6, 2026, at 1:18 PM for pickup at the Happy Valley location. Upon arrival, I parked in spot #3, but my mobile app was not working properly. I went inside the store and showed the staff my order number; however, they were unable to locate the order in their system. I explained the situation clearly and also showed them the email confirmation, which included the order number, date, time, location, and items ordered. Despite this, the staff was unable to help.

This entire process took approximately 20–25 minutes. Since I was hungry and the issue remained unresolved, I placed a new order at the counter and then left.

Later that evening, I contacted McDonald’s customer care and explained that I had been charged for a mobile order that the store staff could not locate. The customer service representative informed me that a request would be raised and that the concerned team would follow up.

A day or two later, I received a call from a staff member at the Happy Valley location who said her name was Ebba (or possibly Hebba). She asked me to explain the incident, which I did. She stated that she could not issue a refund but offered a free meal instead. Since I did not have a specific date or time to visit, she said she would leave a note in the system so that any staff member could assist me when I came in.

Today, January 18, 2026, I visited the Happy Valley store at approximately 7:05 PM and explained the situation to the staff at the counter, referencing Ebba. The staff member then consulted someone else, who asked me to explain the entire situation again. He said he would call Ebba to confirm, as there was no note in the system. This was shocking to me.

I waited another 20–25 minutes, during which I tried to get his attention, but he repeatedly ignored me. This behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. I have never experienced such poor and unacceptable customer service anywhere.

To be clear, I am not seeking free food. I am requesting a refund for the mobile order that was never fulfilled and was charged to me. I do not plan to visit the store again and will resolve this matter directly with customer care to recover the amount owed to me.

Quick and efficient. Don’t really eat the food. Usually order drinks. Sucks when it’s busy and but drive thru lanes are moving slow or not moving at all! Sometimes I just want my coffee and then wanna get my butt back on the road again. But nope. You are stuck waiting.

As McDonalds go this one was awesome! I haven’t even sat down and my double cheese burger and mcchicken were already done.

CRAZY! Fast food is fast again! Can’t say I’ve had this experience in a while. The front desk was staffed by a young man and woman and who ever they are they need a big kudos!

I stop in to this location sometimes several times a week to get breakfast. I really like the sweet tea but for whatever reason not just this location but many others can’t seem to keep the sweet tea fresh. When you get it it tastes disgusting. I’ve gone in before and said hey this tea is bad and they look at me like I’m speaking a foreign language. I’ve gone into this particular location at least twice that I can think, since it’s my local to me, and said hey this tea is not fit to drink do you have any more and they just shrug their shoulders at me like they don’t know what I’m talking about. Is it so hard for someone to taste test the product that you are selling once in a while to see if it’s actually fit to be consumed? It’s sad because it’s one of the few products at McDonald’s that I do actually like and get on a regular basis but it doesn’t seem like the chain as a whole can keep it straight. Sadly this morning I stopped in earlier than I normally do and they were having issues in the drive up so I went to the first window and no one is there. I see a woman finally and she wouldn’t even come to the window and very abruptly gives me a finger to go the the second window. I go to the next window another woman comes up and says you shouldn’t be here you should be at the speaker. And I explained the issue to her she says fine, what’s your order? So I gave her my order and then I get this rotten tea that isn’t drinkable. It would be great if a little quality control could be implemented. I realize it’s fast food but if you can’t even eat ot drink it why am I bothering to even stop at these places?

Revisited after a few weeks. The tea has been good every time. Hopefully it continues. Im changing my stars if it’ll let me.

I don’t know how they check the order but this location is the worst. 8 times out of 10 they take your money but the orders always short. Either need more training or better employees.

My parents are in their 90s and they love McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish and Caramel Sundaes.

When I arrived after placing a mobile order, I pulled into one of the mobile order spaces and followed the instructions on my phone resulting in my order being paid.

I waited for 10 minutes before the food was delivered to my car. The male employee apologized for the wait. I quickly accepted the food, drove .2 miles to their home, and brought the food in. Then I saw the ice cream was melted and the sandwiches were lukewarm at best.

I don’t mind waiting as long as my food is fresh.

I waited 10 minutes because someone forgot to bring out my order. Please see pics. The appropriate action would have been to remake my order and alert me that there was an issue.

I’ve had similar issues at this location before this event.

I called the location and was told that the manager would call me back. I have yet to receive a call.

I don’t eat McDonald’s, I stopped to get my wife a pineapple mango smoothie which she likes so my rating reflects my personal dislike fir them since 2010 when they changed many items on their menu.

Went through drive through. As usual got pushed to the wait for food. Got home and found the order was incorrect. It’s too far from home to go correct it. They seem to make mistakes often.

It took an hour and 15 minutes through the drive-through that I was stuck in because no cars would go back-and-forth. No one served us here. Service is terrible food terrible never coming here again.
