I really enjoyed my meal here. The taste was awesome—authentic and flavorful. What I appreciated most was how reasonably priced everything was; the mittags menu is generous enough to leave you completely full. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. Plus, the drink prices are quite fair. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant lady Saturday Oct 26th, the butter chicken was probably the best we ever had, the korma was nice but just a little bit too much cardamom (for our liking) Service was amazing ! Pascal was a lovely German gent that was super attentive & did such a great job (thank you Pascal) as for all members of staff we had contact with they were just great people, definitely recommend & definitely will be going back when in Vienna

This place is very good for Indian food. The dishes prepared were fresh with perfect spices. Service was very good. Nice ambience. The chef made sure that the taste was just perfect spicy. Great staff. Good food. Definitely coming back when in Vienna.

Looooved the food and the staff and the cool and quiet (depends on fellow-diners) garden in the inner courtyard, covered with green vines. The garlic naan has just the perfect chewy and crunchy texture that it should, slathered with not chopped but minced garlic and butter..yum! . We had dal makhni which is just like the creamy, decadent, exploding-with-flavor dish that we so love back home in india, garnished with fresh ginger and a dollop of ghee! I licked off the very last smear from that mini balti in which it was served We also had paneer kadhai… I was praying please god don’t let it be sweet… and my prayers were answered! The kadhai paneer came in a mini kadhai of course, and with a flame underneath. It’s aroma made me think of home and all the amazing wedding banquets and parties in Dilli! A mouthful of that and I forgot I was in vienna. This is the best north indian food I have eaten in Europe over the many years! No pretense, no compromising to cater to local taste, true authentic taste of Punjabi cuisine from Chandigarh! The place is also children friendly, with tall chairs, there’s even a babydiaper changing table in a spacious restroom.
We totally recommend and look forward to many more lovely meals here! Thank you for making our day!
10th Mar 2025: 3rd visit here (or 4th?). Just wanted to confirm that I stand by the 5 stars I gave on my first visit. The warm hospitality and the authentic delicious food seem to be a constant here. The paalak paneer is beyond words…it’s just perfect. Tried the chicken tikka appetiser today, it was succulent and delicious, good portion size too. I say again: best north Indian food in vienna, and much more reasonably priced than others! Honestly, I came here to cheer up after a disappointing experience in another Indian restaurant a few days ago. It worked! 🙂

A sober yet attractively furnished restaurant of a pleasant size with a good selection of classic Indian dishes with a relatively large number of vegetarian and some vegan dishes. The drinks menu also covers a lot, from non-alcoholic to beer, wine and some classic cocktails. The staff are very courteous and friendly.

Excellent Indian restaurant! We sat in the super cute inner terrace garden, and had the lunch menu. The food was super good and authentic, very tasty and good sized portions. The staff was nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend, great price quality ratio!

Would not recommend it! Had one of the worst lamb madras I ever had.
Very watery, not flavorful enough and definitely not worth the price..
Plenty of other Indian restaurants in the city that are much better and would not make you pay 14€ for some water that has lamb in it.
Also it comes with no sides and you have to order them separately. This would have been fine obviously if the main was actually good. But it was not at all

The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients, and very reasonably priced. Nice, comfortable interior and friendly staff. If you want the food to be spicy they will make it spicy, unlike some places. Highly recommend!
