My wife wanted a taste of what she grew up on. This place did not disappoint at all. The flavor was there, the portions were fair for the price and they had the coconut ice creamin the bag my kids grew up on.
Good stuff!

This location is so inconsiderate. I placed an order on uber for tortillas. My order was running late probably due to them stalling the driver. He messaged me that they are out of tortillas. I told him that the restaurant needs to mark the item out of stock and cancel the order, since if I cancel the order I might not get my full money back. He told me the restaurant refused and I need to cancel it on my end. Why waste my time and not mark the items out of stock when you received it? By the time I was let known, all other fritanga’s in the area are closed and I cannot get my tortillas. HORRIBLE customer service and very INCONSIDERATE.

I love coming here to pick up authentic Nicaraguan food. In addition to hot foods served cafeteria-style, there is a pantry for food stuffs from Nicaragua. I have purchased avocados, pinolio, cacao, and Cafe Presto here. Highly recommended!

Today is a special day. Support your local businesses. I came in a couple days ago to try it out. Young lady working there is super nice and generous. Shes also very elegant. I have become a regular. This is officially my favorite Fritanga. Awesome everything. So yummy. So Fresh. Great lady

I have become a pretty regular customer here because the food is INCREDIBLE. Traditional and authentic Nicaraguan Fritanga served to order.

I typically order the Gallo Pinto (red beans cooked into white rice), Carne Asada (grilled flap steak), Maduros (fried plantains), and Queso Frito (fried cheese). The rice is well-seasoned and soft. The meat is marinated and tender. The cheese is one with a high melting point, so even after it’s been fried, it hold the square shape, soft and chewy inside with a crispy charred exterior.

The also have delicious natural juices. My favorite is Melon and my husband is addicted tot he Maracuya (passion fruit)

The plate of food runs me about $16, but the quantity and quality of the food warrant the price. The juice come in $4 and $6 sizes.

Listen I’ve lived in Miami for over 30 years and Nicaraguan myself. I’ve visited multiple fritangas that’s worth the drive and bank for you buck (from Sweetwater to little Havana). I’ve refrained myself from having to post a negative review to this place for some time now giving them a chance but that’s it. The women who work there always with a bad face as if they are doing you a favor. The carne asada portion was not worth the money. $16.00 for a two small strips and the gallopinto portion either. You can get better quality at El Monimbo or even El Cerro Negro lunch special for a $1 more or less. It’s unfortunate that Curler Bay very few Fritanga that are around aren’t worth it. Take it with a grain of salt or not but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place is more for picking up food and going home or to work, you order at the counter where there’s a bunch of options to choose from. I personally recommend the pork and beef tacos, then I eat it with the coleslaw that comes on the side, but if you come here, this is a good place to try a bunch of different foods.
