The food is excellent. Great portions, good service. My combo meal was $10. The recent reviewer who claimed it cost over $100 a person must have spent 90% of that on alcohol! This place is definitely worth a visit.

We went today for lunch. We ordered a Mojito and Tamarand juice and enjoyed the complimentary salsa but the chips were thicker and we prefer thinner. Not bad just a preference. The salsa was fresh tasting and not spicy, very flavorful. For our mains we ordered steak fajitas and pozole. Oh my goodness!!! The steak and onions, peppers and tomatoes were seasoned so well. It came with beans and rice as well. The beans and rice are as you expect. The pozole for me was the hit. It was a huge portion of flavorful broth not spicy very flavorful with large chunks of chicken. It came with Mexican oregano, crushed peper flakes, limes, raw onions, lettuce and what appeared to be house made tostadas. I barely made a dent in the pozole but was doing my happy food dance while eating. I am looking forward to enjoying the left overs a few more times.
The bar is ever nice, the Mojito was spot on delicious. They have e lots of tequila, two sangrias, a few juices in addition to soda. We observed the beer is served in nice glass beer mugs which we thought was nice since you don’t see that much in Jax.
The water is Jax water so I suggest ordering a drink.
We saw some delicious looking tacos as being served as well.
The prices were very fair for the amount and excellence of the dishes.
The attached grocery has so much fresh breads, spices, clothing, ice cream, fruit bars; too much to mention.

Great food! The chicken tacos were really good. Our server (Cynthia) was excellent. We love the homemade donuts in the little grocery store that’s attached.

First time visitor. Took a while for our server to come to our table and greet us. The food came out lightening fast. The meat was dry and not well seasoned on my tacos, I was disappointed. The onions and cilantro overpowered it My friend says her passion fruit margarita wasn’t good and she sent it back. They happily replaced it Rice and beans were good. I won’t be back because I’m very judgy about Mexican food. Priced fairly especially for taco Tuesday. Very clean place. Nice people.

I love coming to Pepe’s! Local gem for sure. The ceviche, tacos, everything is just all so good! I’ve never had a bad experience ever.

I went on a Saturday at 3pm. The greeting was welcoming and they graciously answered and explained the menu. Take your time. I had the shrimp soft tacos, (Pepe’s) minus the white onions, with a cilantro sauce on the side, YUMMY! So recommend. The salsa was excellent but couldn’t have much because their chips are “authentic” corn, so pretty hard to bite into. Overall, the flavors in my meal were popping with every bite. Definitely my new Mexican joint.

Had breakfast at Pepe’s this morning and it was delicious! Served with thick homemade chips and a mild tomato salsa. I had bistec chilaquiles with verde sauce, delicious! Husband had ham and eggs that came with rice beans tortillas and salad. Our server was polite and efficient without hovering or being too intrusive. The market next door was pristine with whole red snapper available. We got some fresh chicarrones. It’s a nicer version of Rowes on Beach. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic flavors and ingredients.

Absolutely delicious. Kids quesadilla, chips and salsa, 3steak tacos, side of rice.
They made sure to give us a big bag of chips which some places make you pay $5 and give you a tiny bag. So you get a good bang for your buck here.
I think with delivery and leaving a $6 delivery driver tip this order was about $36 to get delivered. The delivery fees and tip made up a lot of the cost, but that’s expected.
