I went there about 32 minutes before they closed. They had no more cooked biscuits, the rest were frozen. I thought they were completely out, but they wanted to shut down earlier I was told. I asked for a thigh and they gave me a small breast. I don’t know if they know the parts of a chicken or if they were being funny. The chicken wasnt hot, but it was still tasty. I haven’t been to this popeyes in over 8 years. I guess I’m not missing nothing. I went there right after work because I wanted the biscuits….smh

First, I would like to say if I could give a negative review it would not be a one star it would be -10 stars on all aspects. Monday night I went to the Penfield Popeyes I went through the drive-through to order could not understand the man that was taking our order. Placed an order went to the window half the food was not available no shrimp no lemonade no coleslaw all they had was mashed potatoes and gravy and beans and rice. OK so I took the rice was not cooked. It was very hard the mashed potatoes. The gravy was watery. Then we got our chicken. I ordered chicken tenders with dipping sauce. They gave me chicken pieces covered and dipping sauce I have people that didn’t want the dipping sauce and didn’t eat. I ordered an a piece meal. The chicken was tough tasted like it was maybe a 20-year-old chicken I ended up $65.86 later my dogs ate the chicken we had soup and it was horrible. I will be calling management tomorrow. Maybe he’ll be able to understand me who knows

I had a horrible experience. My order was horrible chicken was hard and cold I ordered mashed potatoes there was barely anything in there and the bottom was coleslaw and the top half was mashed potatoes. I called the store several times and finally the call was answered I ask for a manager and the person hung the phone up on me. Unprofessional and unkind employees. I contacted support and was told someone would be getting back to me a month later and this issue was not made right. So I’ll just warn everyone, if you hungry and want chicken I suggest you find a new place to go to because here you’ll get horrible service and food.

Terrible! I ordered chicken wings combo from the drive thru -Took a bite and immediately spat it out. The meat was spoil – it was apparent in the taste and smell, so I’m pretty sure they could tell when they were cooking it. I drove back and went in and told the gentleman who served me. He gave me another box – that looked like it was just made. It was the same nasty smell and taste. Absolutely horrible. Wasted money and time.

I think the ownership has changed. The service has never been great here but the food was at least standard for the franchise. It’s been a while since we’ve been here but the food has drastically changed. The chicken was soggy and everything seemed slightly undercooked. The sides tasted as if they were old. Ate what we could but threw out the majority. I would not recommend coming here.

New Review – 3/3/2025 – Decided to give Popeyes another chance after 3 years, how bad can it be? Wrong. Worst experience. Couldn’t understand the person at the drive thru at all. They were sold out of all sides except Red Beans & Rice, Mashed Potatoes and Fries. They had no shrimp and no lemonade. Ordered Chicken Strips with side sauces. Was charged 21.99 for a “12 pc wing combo” which was chicken nuggets IN sauce not wings or strips. Half in Garlic Parm sauce that was rancid and bad. The Honey BBQ was OK but again, wasn’t what was ordered. Chicken meal was all way overcooked and dried out to the point even the dog wouldn’t eat it. The rice was significantly undercooked and basically raw, gravy was very watery. Employee was RUDE and had an attitude because we didn’t understand him. Tried calling General Manager and got a call back from the number saying he doesn’t work at Popeyes, he sells weed so Popeyes should probably NOT give out that number to people that have concerns. Tried calling District Manager and no response. Charged way too much for a meal that was inedible. Photos added from last night. Huge waste of over $60…
3 Years Ago – Messed up the order, gave the wrong sides and forgot some of the items after waiting for almost 25 minutes for food to be ready. Didnt realize order was wrong until we were home and werent going back for it to be corrected. Had us pull to side to bring the food out and they had no idea what order went to which car.

I walked into the restaurant today 16 March 2024 at 3:42. The employees greeted us. This was mostly a Spanish speaking young crew however bilingual. The crew was very customer service friendly.
The restaurant was not very busy at all. As a matter of fact we were the only customers in the restaurant. Our food came rather quickly (which is what I would expect with no one else inside).
We got our meal and walked to the dining area. I looked around and the dining area was very unclean. Every table was dirty with food on top and paper towels and food and crumbs all scattered on the floor. I could not believe my eyes. I went and got a crew member and asked if we could have someone come and clean the table we were sitting. The crew member came to the dining area and looked amazed that the area was not clean. He immediately cleaned all the tables and swept the floors to the best of his ability. As I look over the dining area I can see the floor is very dirty and still many food crumbs are under the tables and chicken bones. I will not be returning to this Popeyes to dine in. The food was great and our order was accurate. The crew was nice but behind the counter they were gathered around playing on the phones which did not look very professional. Next time I’ll go through the drive through.

Tried twice in the past month to stop and get lunch, and walked out both times. Heard two customers at the counter complain about them always being out of stuff. On both visits I waited more than 10 minutes to get served, that’s ridiculous. It’s supposed to be fast food. I also noticed that people had a hard time communicating with the person behind the counter.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH. I asked for fresh fries and then watched the worker (who was not wearing a beard net or hair net or gloves) place the fryer basket in the garbage can to fill it with fries!!!! Are you kidding me!? Then the spoon they use to scoop the already cooked food was whacked on the garbage can to remove the stuck on food bits. NEVER AGAIN. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!
