We came on a Thursday about 1:00pm. It was much smaller than I expected and not very many table but luckily they were not very busy. Only 2 other tables when we got there but by the time we were leaving, there was a line out the door. You order as soon as you walk in. They were very welcoming but we did feel a little pressure to order quickly since you have to check out the menu and order while standing in the door. The drinks were self survice. We didn’t have to wait very long at all for the food. I got the 1/4lb of smoked sausage ($12). I was honestly not impressed. It tasted like what we had at home. It didn’t taste smoked or grilled and was not even hot. It was 1 link cut up, so not much meat at all. I chose Mac n cheese & potato salad as my sides. The Mac n cheese had a nice consistency and was not too dry but honestly not a lot of flavor… It would have been nice if it were a little more smokey. The potato salad was mellow, creamy and honestly refreshingly good. It had pieces of bacon and cheese, so it tasted like loaded potatoes. I was very surprised how small the sides were. My husband got the 1/2 lb of ribs ($17). He was disappointed with the portion size as well. He loved the flavor though! I am usually not a rib girly but he insisted I try these, because they were so good & I would have to agree. They were some of the best ribs we have ever had! He got the Mac n cheese & corn. He was not impressed with the corn and said he didn’t even want to finish it. I tried a bite and it was just ok, not as much flavor as we were expecting. They asked if we wanted hot BBQ sauce and we said yes. They offered us some of their new flavors and I wanted to try the Jalapeno cherry & my husband got the peach habanero! We were both very happy with our choices! I did not care for the peach habanero but he preferred it. I would definitely recommend the jalapeno cherry BBQ sauce for sure. When we were done we were both still hungry and ended up going somewhere else immediately after to get more food. So will we be coming back? No…. Probably not. I really wanted to like it but I don’t think it’s worth it for the portion sizes.

The food was outstanding. The pulled pork, chicken, and bologna were all delicious, and the sides truly stood out—hands down the best green beans and mac & cheese we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and there was more than enough for everyone. So many guests commented on how great the food was.
The setup was timely and seamless, which allowed our family to focus on being together rather than worrying about details. We sincerely appreciate the care and quality they put into both the food and service. We would highly recommend MISFIT PITS BBQ for any catered event. Thank you Jeremy!

Service here was top notch. The employees were so genuinely kind. And the food is great. Prices are good too.
We ordered brisket, burnt ends, baked beans, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. Barbecue sauce had the perfect flavor too.
The only thing we didn’t love was the sweet tea. It was just ok.
If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stop by.

I called my order in and got chopped brisket, loaded potatoes,garlic green beans and slaw.. it was delicious. BBQ sauce was tasty too.. they have variety to choose I had the House sause but want to try others . It was my first visit and too go order. Next time I will ask for pickles and onion to go with . I chopped a purple onion and omg .. yummy yummy
