I’ve been to Coaches Grill in Mount Airy a few times now, and it’s always a go-to spot when I’m in town visiting family. The food is consistently delicious and served hot, which I really appreciate. On my last visit, I ordered the Triple Play, which came with sliders, pretzel bites, and chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. Everything was spot on! The chicken tenders were perfectly juicy, the sliders were flavorful, and the pretzel bites with the cheese dip were absolutely delicious.
The service here is always great, and my most recent visit was no exception. Sidney E. took excellent care of us—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Highly recommend Coaches Grill if you’re in the area and looking for a solid meal and great service!

Our server was jen was awesome and made our experience one to remember!..I ordered the Hawaiian chicken and got pepper jack cheese instead of swiss.. I am beyond pleased with my meal. Everything was fresh and served to perfection in my opinion.. also had fried pickles and loaded cheese fries and you can taste the freshness from a clean fryer.. I am beyond satisfied with the food and the service.. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great atmosphere with great food and service

My husband and I ate at coachs on Friday 1/16/26, the food was great and our waitress Sidney B was wonderful. She made sure we always had full drinks and was fully satisfied with our food. We will be going back if she is working!

Food used to be good for years; now it sucks. I guess we can thank the district manager for that one. The fries are gritty, and the wings suck—way too small for the price. I might as well go to East Coast or Macado’s. Feel sorry for the people that work there that will have to find a new job soon. Due to incompetence of corporate management.

I’ve never been here before and seen it on my trip home from Virginia, and had to give it a try. It’s a pretty nice restaurant, I never complain too much when I visit places, I try to see the good things that are happening at wherever. Anyways the waitress was brand new tonight, but she was very friendly and what she couldn’t figure out she would go and ask the manager for the correct answer. I ordered a medium steak and pretty much came to me almost well done. I reported it to my waitress and she was happy to take it back and exchange it for me. The manager was right at my table once he found out about the problem and tried to solve any issues that he could and make sure I was satisfied. As far as the flavor vs the price of the steak….ahhhhhh hmmmmm….I would say don’t get the steak here, but if you come in on Thursday night they do have pretty good boneless wings for 65 cents a piece! The bathroom was a little dirty, but that’s probably from a person before me being in there. The place is alright for a visit, if you’re bored with everything else around and want somewhat of change in scenery compared to the other surrounding restaurants

YES. Hospitality at its finest! We had our dog with us, ate outside. The outside tables are comfy and nice large area so the tables aren’t too close together. We were also even given a to go box with water for our dog. The food was down right delicious! I never ran out of tea. Wait staff is fantastic, never needed anything not for we have to wait very long for the food. Jalapeño poppers we’re gone before I remembered to take a photo.

Being completely honest, I believe this was one of the best restaurants I have EVER eaten at. All the food was incredible, from appetizer to dinner. The sampler platter was more than enough for our family, and the entrees were incredible. Out of all the plates we tried, the home run was the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, but everything was awesome. If you’re passing by, 10/10 reccomend every time.
