We ordered Square Pizza because we do try to buy and shop local when we can. I’d heard good things and figured we would try it out.
I apologize in advance-these pictures are of items we ordered after some were eaten (hungry people forgot we needed pictures for the review haha). Normally I would just keep notes and do a review the next time
I order with good pictures. However, our experience was lackluster enough that we won’t be ordering again.
I give this a solid two out of five. There was absolutely nothing about our food or the experience that was particularly enjoyable or even just satisfactory to be honest. My roommate ordered the corn nuggets and the chicken alfredo dip. The corn nuggets were soft and had the same texture as the ones you find on a generic buffet at the tail end of lunch. The alfredo dip had decent flavor, but didn’t even fill the 6oz styrofoam container. The dip contents consisted of the cheese sauce dip with two chunks of chicken and pizza dough crisps that were basic at best.
I also ordered a three topping medium build your own without sauce. They still put sauce on the pizza-I did not select a sauce-and we’ve had better from pizza chains.
The short version-this pizza place has some great menu options that they seem to lack the ability to execute in a flavorful final product. I’ll go ahead and pass on by “Square Pizza”. You should too….

Ordered the classic Italian. Pepperoni and sausage. Easy. Kind of busy. Gave our pie to another table accidentally. Fine..he was nice and told us. Finally got our pizza. Lots of sauce on top..I forgot about the classic sauce on top..damn. this thing is swimming in sauce. Couldn’t find any sausage. All the flavors and ingredients are spot on..tossed most of it in the trash..

Ordered sausage,olive,and cheese pizza…a little undercooked for my taste…flavor was bold on the olives…not a terrible pizza but there is better out there…wait time is 20 min in my case..everything cooked to order…Greek salad was amazing…if your in the area and want pizza this will do…

My husband and I used to come here for years. It’s been a couple years since we’ve visited. The taco pizza was a favorite of ours. I called to place an order and was told it’s coming back, not really on the menu yet, but it could be made for us. I remember it being really good. The cold toppings on the side with some salsa. The guy I talked to (while I was paying) when I picked it up said he had not been there for 3 months (but was previously) and didn’t know about how it was constructed (not in those exact words), but made it how he thought it would be. Please, don’t let it be like this! There was so much lettuce put on directly after cooking I couldn’t pick it all off. It was wilted and just gross. No black olives and few onions. No salsa, no cold sides at all. Nothing like it used to be. The way it was, was really good. Locally, I don’t find a taco pizza as good. Please, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. And don’t use romaine lettuce. It’s iceberg if there’s going to be lettuce and on the side.
The guy I spoke to, the cashier, seemed like he just wanted to be done. It was about 6pm, 1 table occupied by a family. The place looked the same, it was nice and clean. There are plenty other places who don’t serve taco pizza that are nice and clean, and cheaper. For the price, I can’t find a reason to return. Which is sad. We didn’t waste the pizza, we picked off the lettuce as much as we could. Good luck if this is the taco pizza. I’d post a photo of there was a spot for it.

This is a laid back pizza joint with lots of great combinations. I went with small personal size of the supreme pizza with peppers, mushrooms, and three types of meat. The dough is thicker, more substantial than a thin crust and is really filling. Square Pizza lives up to its name because they bake their pizzas in a square pan and are a great option in the sleepy town square.

Went in on New Year’s Eve around 6:30 there were 2 other families dining in. Staff was unfriendly and VERY unhelpful. The silverware was all dirty in self serve area. When I asked for clean and let them know they literally shrugged and one of them was just sitting on a bucket. I washed 2 forks in the bathroom with hand soap and they watched me go to do it! The bathroom was so disgusting I held the door open with my foot so I did have to touch anything. Pizza is good. Will never dine in again.

First time in. Counter serve. Once the order was placed it was hard to find someone. Only 1 fork available. The pizza wasn’t great. We didn’t bother to take the leftovers.
