I don’t know how to describe this food as anything other than absolutely comforting. Everything was piping hot and delicious, with generous portion sizes. Our soups – Egg Drop and Hot & Sour – were rich and thick. The Beef Chow Fun was flavorful and perfectly chewy. Amidst the numerous Instagram-trending spots that have popped up in the area, it’s a breath of fresh air to walk into a mom-and-pop restaurant that has been holding it down for literally decades on East Colonial!!

Tasty Wok in Orlando is a hidden gem for anyone craving seriously good Chinese food. The restaurant itself is simple and unassuming, but the flavors more than make up for it. The menu is full of comforting classics, from stir-fries to noodle dishes, every plate we tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Portions are generous, service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly. Don’t miss the roast duck or crispy pork; they’re worth taking home or devouring right there!

For two people, we may have overordered but it was well worth it!
We started with the minced beef and cilantro soup, which had a generous portion of beef and was not salty. The cilantro was just right and not overwhelming at all!
The rest of our food trickled in with the beef with bitter melon, steamed chicken, and char siu. The protein in each dish was very tender and delicious! The steamed chicken came with a graded ginger dipping sauce on the side that gave the dish some pizzazz! My dad said it was spicy but it wasn’t to me (as a ginger lover).
I would recommend all the dishes we had and it’s hard to pick a favorite. My dad is a tough food critic and he had no notes on any of the food we ordered (and could t pick a favorite dish either lol). Service was great and food came out quickly! And I honestly felt we got so much value for the price as well! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back when in town!

This is hands down the BEST Chinese restaurant ever!! Whenever my family and I are in Orlando, we go out of our way to make sure we eat at Tasty Wok. Our favorites are the roasted duck, house pan fried noodles, and the shrimp wonton noodle soup.

This is one of the best restaurants along Colonial Rd. in Orlando! Everything we had was very good…except for the salted fish fried rice which turned out pretty salty. I guess for others that’s ok. We mixed it with regular white rice and made it better! 😉
Parking is available at the back of the restaurant. We parked at Publix across the street which is more convenient. Then did some shopping at Publix afterwards.

First time here. Menu is more Vietnamese than Cantonese. The BBQ Duck last flew in 2019. It was not cooked today, most likely not this month. Kind of rancid and greasy. Scallion pancake was the best I ever had. Crispy and light. The pan fired noodles were good. The BBQ pork I had to pick out. Also tasted spoiled. Avoid the BBQ and you’re probably OK. The service was amazing.

I just ordered food from here on uber eats. The fried rice was really good! However, my chicken and broccoli was flavorless and the chicken tasted rubbery. Definitely would not recommend that dish at all.

Don’t go here to eat Roasted Pork Skin. It’s been refreshed many days it got burnt really bad and the meat being old not fresh as it is. The meat is super dry and not soft. Don’t waste your money here. I bought 2lbs and I cut all the burn area out.

Our server was super friendly, patient, and attentive. I can not believe how fast the service was. Food was flying out atleast a million miles per hour . We had a great time and the food was pretty good! I must say that their porridge consistency is very on point, which is amazing! There were not many people there, but we also came later at night. I believe they take online orders and in person dining. Would stop by again for a nice bite in Orlando!

This is the first time I’ve gone and been disappointed. Maybe it was just an off day. The noodles were very soggy and the scallion pancakes didn’t taste as good as usual. I will definitely give this place another try since I’ve been here many times.
