Cozy local Ypsilanti bar with good bar food. I love their wings and burger. Their blue cheese dipping sauce is delicious. Today they had a spanakopita special with homemade tzatziki, and it tasted like my mom used to make in Eastern Europe. Their fries were huge, crispy on outside and pillowy inside. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

We went here on a Saturday night because we saw they had pool tables and the reviews were good. We never got to play pool because they only have 2 tables and they were taken the whole night but that didn’t really end up mattering. We got excellent drinks and food. The service was spectacular. They were running a deal on well drinks and it was well worth it. We plan on going back.

The service was awesome. The waitress was very good. She was quick to take our order, she brought it out quickly and was very attentive making sure our drinks were filled and we had everything we wanted. The food was delicious! Very reasonable prices, great atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone.

Nicely surprised that it was so nice. Great pub food. Though not much selection on the wine list, they did have nice choices. Nice selection of beers, though. For those who love games there are pool tables, table soccer (foosball) and shuffleboard. Very friendly staff.

I came here with a queer bar group that I help organize on a Thursday night. A person in our group got sexually harassed by someone inside the bar, and there were a group of 4 men who were filming us on the sidewalk outside the main door. They went inside and were standing by the womens’ bathroom and filming people coming and going.
The crowd here past about 9pm seems to be mostly older men. We were here for less than 3 hours before we had to pack up and leave.
According to the local community, Taproom has a reputation for folk getting harassed here very frequently. There is no security and the barstaff is extremely rude and uncaring. We’ll absolutely never be coming back here.
Do not go here alone if you are a woman or a queer person. It’s a genuinely dangerous spot.

The food is perfect bar food. The whiskey and beer selection are on point.
