If you want insanely good chili Verde pork burritos and native tacos come here to the New Mexican Grill. The food is better then any of the more famous AZ Mexican places and is fathoms cheaper. The service is fast and spot on. The flavors are some of the best I’ve had and now after I’ve been here I will return lots of times.

we stopped in right before closing and still got great food and super friendly service without feeling rushed. the fry bread with new mexico flavors was delicious, and the place had a cozy vibe that made it worth the visit.

So here we go we decided to try this place out and we was very disappointed the fry bread is not your traditional fry bread and we ordered it and it come out another way then how we ordered it also the restaurant was very like if there ac was not working the green chile sauce was ok but overall it’s not what we expected hopefully they turn up the ac and the recipes we give it 2 stars just our honest review

Pretty damn good. It was so hard taking pics cause the food is irresistible. Not New Mexican proper but damn good and damn close. All I care is that the chile is hot. Had the carne asada fry combo – #13 – Christmas. Christmas style is when you ask for the red and green chile sauce. It’s a New Mexican thing. It was Tuesday and had once taco, which was more like two with how full it was. Delicious. Coming back.

First time here – got an order to go – wonderful smells when you walk into this friendly & clean “neighborhood” restaurant which is DELI IOUS! Tostada, burrito & taquitos. chips & sals sooo good – everything tasted fresh! Thank you – we will now be regulars!

Food was way better when Ralph was the owner. He cared about the quality and his customers. Since his passing and his family selling the business to the cook it has gone down hill slowly. Today was the last straw for me. The young man that waited on me at the counter was rude and had the ugliest smirk k. His far taking my order. I have supported this business for many years but now it’s a no go for me. After reading the reviews I see I’m not the only one. Elmers or Si Señor is way better and better quality and customer service.

New Mexican Grill is my “Go To” Mexican food restaurant. The dishes are authentic and vibrant with flavor and the portions are phenomenal. Every entree that I’ve tried has been added to my favorites list!
Each dish excites my palate and satisfies my hunger. I continue to try something new but so love my regular dishes that sometimes I order a dish to dine-in and take a second one “To Go.”
Always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation, the entire team is more like family than restaurant staff. It’s a must try location for everyone. If you are local to the area, it is sure to be added to your regular dining rotation.
Over the years, I have brought over a dozen family and friends to the New Mexican Grill and rave about it in any conversation about dining, especially Mexican food. Out-of-town friends mention it as one of their favorite restaurants while visiting Arizona.
During the height of COVID, they followed protocols to ensure patron and employee safety. My family and I frequented New Mexican Grill nearly every week during this time. This was for several reasons: I needed the comfort that the entrees and seeing the staff brought me, and I wanted to do my part to ensure this local establishment stayed open. I’m grateful they stayed busy during this time.
If I could rate it 5 stars with a bonus star, I most certainly would.
