Just reopened so seem to be ironing out a few of the details, service was excellent, our server was a delight, a lot of the wine on the menu was sold out or unavailable, food was good overall, a great option if you’re in the area! Would definitely recommend and can only imagine it’ll get better as they settle into the new space.

Had reservations for 5. Got there at 4:55. Was told to go to bar which was Very loud. Went back 5 minets later and was seated by another person. Waiter was good. Menu is very limited. Printed on regular paper with water stains on it. High price for food. One dish smelled like a cigarette ash tray. Sent it back. Some folks didn’t bother with dress code unfortunately. Over all it was ok. Was hoping for alittle better food selection. Will try it again on a later date.

We have eaten here several times over the years, The restaurant just re-opened for business a few months ago. I really like what they did with the dining room! We bought our own snapper, and it was prepared to perfection. Highly recommend the pistachio style crust. Amazing! They are on the list for next time for certain

Don’t be fooled by the outside like we’ve been for years. Don’t be fooled by the inside either as it’ll take you back a few decades we thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine. The lasagna and the spaghetti and meat sauce were delicious. The Key Lime Pie was very good 9 out 10 according to wifey.
We’ll definitely be back to try the pizza….oh don’t forget to ask for the dinner rolls, they were amazing.

There are several negative reviews posted recently, but all of them are from new Google reviewers. I think somebody has it out for this place and is generating fake profiles to lower the ratings. We ate here today and totally enjoyed everything. We had conch chowder, which was so thick with ingredients that the spoon stood up in it. My wife had a fried Mahi burger with two large filets, and I had the grilled Mahi burger that hung over the edges of the bun. There was a huge pile of fries that taste like truffle or double fried. Our server came back several times to make sure we had everything. No problems at all.

As my week long vacation is coming to an end, we stopped at this restaurant, which is just down the road from where we are staying. I can honestly say, after every single place I have tried so far, this restaurant is my favorite!!! My boyfriend got the filet, and he said it was cooked perfect, but a little dry. Our friend got a shrimp salad and said it was amazing. Our other friend got a burger and said it was great. I got the blackened chicken with a salad, & side of spaghetti, and added a side of spinach, all of it was spectacular. I can’t think of anything that could make my meal better. The portions were big, and prices were very reasonable. Also, the bread that was served before your meal is wonderful and fresh too. Waitress and other staff was super friendly!! I can’t wait to come back! 🙂

Still decent food, a noticeable change, perhaps new ownership.
We had a dolphin sandwich, stuffed dolphin and spaghetti with meatballs. Had steamed mussels, not much flavor to the mussels and too creamy and not enough garlic for my taste. All the food had large portions. The spaghetti sauce, not to my taste and the meatballs were mushy. The stuffed dolphin and dolphin sandwich were very good.
Gone are the loafs of bread, and the butter is now in cheap individual containers, gone are the cloth napkins, and the wine glass is the size of a large shot glass.
Again, food still decent, but definitely lost some of the class.
We’ve been going here for over 20yrs. I use to rate this as the top spot in Marathon. I would still recommend, the food is decent, the experience is not what it use to be.

I have been coming here for about 18 years. The current owner is newer. But I am so excited they continued tradition.
We started with salads. The Blue cheese and Ranch are made at restaurant. Both are excellent. They are both my favorites. I think others are homemade as well. My picture was half eaten because it is that good.
We both ordered the Lorenzo. I did the Dolphin and my wife upgraded to the Snapper. The Dolphin was great. But it is worth the $6 dollar upgrade. Seriously not a knock on the Dolphin, it is just the Snapper is perfect for this dish. Yes the price is higher than it used to be. BUT.. Unlike most places that are charging for half a yellow tail filet. It looked like 2 full filets. The picture does not give the the quantity justice. It was so good. This place is is one of the best places in the Marathon area. You must try this place it will become a yearly tradition for you as well.
There is a post about early arrival menu that is not a thing. See my photo.
This place is the highlight of our yearly trip. We make this stop a priority.
