Wapos is a new pizza spot in town, run by the new pizza guy on the block. For a place that hasn’t been around long, it has no business being this good. The margarita pizza and the hot honey pepperoni are both incredible, and the ricotta on the pepperoni is honestly the standout. It’s takeout only, but that’s totally fine. Grab your pizza and go get some fresh air. Don’t sleep on it.

When I heard about this new pizza biz opening in midtown, I was excited to try it out with my son! He is a notoriously picky eater, so we opted for a plain cheese pizza. The owner told us that they make every sauce from scratch and even the dough is freshly made and mixed by hand, which impressed me. Let me tell you, this pizza was a delight. My son devoured nearly everything and left me a slice, and I savored every bite. They are very talented pizza pros and I will certainly be ordering from them soon!
