King Cake Review – It’s like a sweet bread, nicely dense, not overly sugary. I got the cinnamon traditional. It has enough coating for flavor, but was not gooey. The icing has the tang of cream cheese and lemon. The colors are from sprinkled sugar. This is real homemade bread and real sugar icing, so it does dry out quickly. Plan to eat it within a day or two. This is for someone who loves bread, not for the person who is looking for a gooey cinnamon roll or pastry.

This place is amazing! The macaroons are the BEST I’ve ever had!! Their cakes and shortbread cookies are so delicious as well! They are really nice, and the atmosphere is classy simple, and very clean. Give them a try and I swear you won’t be disappointed!!

Purchased a king cake here and it was very dry. The pretty presentation had me fooled. The flavor of the cake was terrible especially for it to be a brown sugar and cinnamon king cake BUT HAD LEMON FLAVOR IN THE ICING wasted my money coming here unfortunately and came all the way from Texas for it.

Others have stated the cakes were not moist. I ignored the reviews and tried the Tres Leches and Red Velvet cake. Tres Leches cake did not have that sweet condensed milk flavor at all. Very much a plain milk flavor. The Red Velvet cake was not moist. Disappointed. They look beautiful , but lack in flavor.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful!!! So genuinely courteous, caring & helpful. I went in saying I needed a cake for my mother in laws 90th birthday. They listened to everything I said. They even looked at some picture ideas I had & the plates, napkins, party decor I was trying to somewhat match. They had me send them a couple of those pictures. They then helped me make decisions based off all that. Everyone at the party complimented how good & pretty it was wanting to know where I had it made. Again, the Bakery Lore’ are awesome….I showed them a couple things & simply said she loves pink & yellow & flowers I trust your judgement just go with it. The end result was a beautiful masterpiece.

Best macaroons in the area! The others don’t hold a candle to these! Great customer service. Clean establishment and restrooms. Beautifully decorated with plenty of seating if you want to stay and eat these delicious treats! I love the way they package everything so professionally. I will be back many time again!
