I ordered a whole lemon cake this morning and paid almost $40 for it. I went to run errands after dropping the food off to my family. When I came home I wanted a slice of cake just for it to be a 7 Up cake from the grocery store. I can’t even return it because my family fat tails didn’t say anything until after they ate it. Check the cake before you leave!

Lol I got duped this place is not Frenchy’s chicken. There is an extra E. I made the same mistake that many other reviewers made. The font is similar but this ain’t the same frenchy’s established in 1969. Reminds me of McDonalds vs McDowells lol. The food I got was good at least, it was hot. But it hasn’t been consistent – other times it has been like it’s just been sitting there. It’s not a bad spot at all for a chicken fix despite not being THE frenchys, but I do feel duped. Still – don’t wanna wait in line at the original? Give this place a try, just know what to expect.

I don’t understand why they had to write down my driver license and credit card information on a note pad at the register when I paid for my order. That practice could lead to identity theft and fraudulent charges on my credit card. I have never experienced this practice at any other establishment.

I LOVE THIS LOCATION!! The chicken and the customer service is on point. The staff is always working hard .. they don’t play what the sign says is what it is no substitute!! Come eat from the original Frencheys location and feel that Houston vibe of that some good ass chicken ..

Received a 2 piece which was not my order
Food was old look at this wing in pictures!
Ummm Ms Pam said she normally takes the orders but not mines some how ♂️ now I’m 2 things. But let’s start 2025 off right by not giving people Martins Mama Bird wings(ifykyk)

She told me take the proper channels in regards to my order since it was door dash.however , I just wanted to make her aware of the mistake since they don’t even care enough to put the freshest chicken in orders received on DOORDASH… DOORDASH ORDERS RECEIVE OLD CHICKEN BEWARE… I hate time wasted. Especially when u are working and hungry

The chicken not seasoned or taste the same like it use to they rushing the chicken instead of letting it cook completely lots of time not freshly hot like it’s been cook and only sitting under the warm like. Lots of times the don’t put napkins & catch-up in the bag. They cut back on the creole season. The sweet potato slice is so small when buying it. Third Ward frenchy’s chicken is better and never changed the season

Getting food from here through DoorDash should be looked at carefully. They care more about giving you what they want than what you want. The general manager has. No sense of what customer service is and did not follow the request on the receipt. I guess all the Frenchys corporate or spinoffs need more streamlined “modern” management rather that mom and pop mentality.

Food is great, still keeping up w/original recipe. However, this past Monday I witness/heard Manager speak to an employee very disrespectful and put her hand in employee face, the way the employee was being DISRESPECTED, just pissed me off. Everyone needs their job and NOT disrespected, SMH

This was my second time visiting this franchise and this location was much better than the other I visited. I have to say there’s nothing flashy about it, no special processes or chef inspired ingredients. Just good, old fashioned fried chicken that’s seasoned well and has the right crisp. Reminds you of when as a kid you would stop by that aunt who could cook real good and you just happened to be there when she fried chicken and you couldn’t wait for her to offer you a piece. I ordered wings and there were decent sized fried perfectly and the tips were crispy the way I liked. My only complaint is the owner could do a better job on the upkeep of the establishment. Lord knows it could use repairs.
