We ordered a family night meal, plus buffalo dip about 70 dollars total. No problem my 2nd Birthday Dinner, Longhorn last night.
They forgot our dip a was served our pulled pork in little cups, side dish cups. I paid the most for the pull pork why would you serve it like that. The presentation was terrible, an i called an spoke with manager. Manger is telling me about portion size, im talking about putting my meat stuffed in a cup. Mashed, beans an potatoes In plastic container. I have been to Mattydale an ononadaga blvd an have never been served like this. We got about 10 cups of bbq. To many containers of nothing, an forgot our dip. We had about six black containers, just a waste. Talking about portion. You will save money if you knew how to package to go meals. I’m so upset whole bunch of containers with nothing in them that’s why our dip was missed. A tip would be when you have a large order have a 2nd checker. We gotta drive 30 minutes to go back for our dip, an that is a waste of gas. Not sure what that will come in. Will update once I pick up. If you are looking for presentation of a meal which really makes a difference to me, don’t expect it here. I could have gone to one of the
Fast food places to get my main portion of my meal stuffed in a cup.
I will not be visiting with any to go meals

I ordered brisket sandwich, was good but could of used more sauce on the side. The fries were not great. Regular crinkle fries would of went along way. BBQ beans were great.

Wife ordered burnt end sandwich. Absolutely a large sandwich. It was great. Red skin mashed were good. No gravy though. Sweet potato fries were also good

Solid 4 star here. Will be back.

My out of town brother selected Limp Lizard for our meetup. No wait at the bar. I asked for a recommendation for a summer friendly coctail and was served a pineapple upside down cake martini! Pineapple, vanilla delish! We moved to an outdoor table with village view. Service was friendly and attentive at the bar and the patio. The guys both had rib dinners one with Mac and cheese and hell Fire chili. Cucumber salad and fries. I ordered a brisket bbq sandwich with Mac cheese and the chili as well. The guys loved the ribs and the Smokey bbq flavor. Mac and cheese was a hit, so creamy and blend of cheeses. Their hellfire chili is debatable, I enjoy it but it’s not your classic chili, consists of mostly seasoned ground beef that packs a little heat it’s definitely not close to hell fire for me topped with a bit of cheese and sour cream. It lacks moisture that crushed tomato, tomato paste or broth would improve viscosity. The brisket sandwich is huge with a Smokey bbq flavor topped with cheese and bacon. Some fatty bites but to be expected. Rage review from the guys voting for LL ribs over DBQ! Ifykyk the smokiness sets them apart!

We visited the restaurant a Sunday earlier in December it was moderately busy and sat at the bar. Bartender friendly and provided good customer service but as the evening transpired she definitely could have used some help behind the bar. My fiancé had the smoked chicken with double mashed potatoes. It’s interesting how the sides come in small plastic containers even if you dine in, that’s portion control. I had the brisket, hellfire chili, and Mac and cheese, and corn bread. I do recommend the jalapeño corn bread! He really enjoyed the smoked chicken as it was moist and a nice smoked flavor with bbq sauce. The brisket was a bit fatty and lacking moisture and seasoning. I’m not a bbq aficionado so it was fine with plenty of bbq sauce. Their Mac and cheese is always a classic comfort food side along with their mashed potatoes and gravy. The hellfire chili was not as spicy hot as the name suggests, but seasoned with a kick for sure. The Chili is bean free which I like but it also needed more moisture, it really is a cup of seasoned meet topped with cheese. I added bbq sauce to the chili and it was very tasty. I’d love some jalapeños on top and a dollop of sour cream! I love the mural of the lizards in the desert that emulates the Village of Liverpool, really unique touch! Getting the check took some time at the end of our meal, business was picking up and only one bartender to accommodate all the bar guests and drinks for restaurant diners. I think the check was around $50-$60 with two beers a piece.

We used to frequent here often and always got the burnt ends sandwich with sweet potato fries as one of the sides. The other dish pictured is the regular brisket sandwich with regular fries (I added my own cheese bc $2 for them to add cheese is insane). You used to have to pay extra for that side of sweet potato fries, but not anymore. The serving of sweet potatoes fries is just…sad in comparison to the regular fries. I think I’d rather pay the extra for the sweet potato if it means you’d get a normal serving of them, especially since the other sides are also so small.

Also placed an order at 6:53, was told 25 minutes, got there at 7:15, didn’t get the order until almost 7:50. They weren’t very busy aside from a larger table in the back and a few people at the bar. The wait wasn’t really an issue until the third time being told to come back in another 10 minutes.

The food was sub par. The side of mac & cheese tasted like just plain noodles. The sandwiches were okay, wish there was more BBQ sauce on my regular brisket, it was a bit dry.

I’ll assume it was an off night for them and just dock one star for this and will have to try again another night.

So, hubby and I are from south Georgia so we are pretty picky about our BBQ. We decided to try this place due to alot of good reviews. Keep in mind this is just OUR opinion.. we ordered the fried pickles as an app and they were honestly the best part of the meal! The way they were cut, the breading, the southwest ranch was all dynamite!! Then we both ordered 1 meat with 2 sides and corn bread. I got pulled pork and mac and cheese and fries, he got brisket, mac n cheese and the chili. The mac and cheese was pretty darn good. The fries super crispy and very tasty. The pork was okay. Not bad, also not the best. They put some kind of slightly spicy sauce on it and i wasn’t a huge fan of it and otherwise the pork was pretty flavorless. The brisket was good but had alot of pieces that were 50 percent or more just fat. But the biggest let down for me was the cornbread.. it had a good flavor but I couldn’t get past the texture..it was like cake. Very moist cake. Dense, moist and not at all like a corn bread I know. But again, we are from the south where it’s made homemade in a cast iron skillet and much less dense. Overall for Northern style BBQ, it’s not bad. Try it out and see for yourself. The service was decent and friendly, the place is decorated nicely and the plates remind me of my childhood when my food couldn’t touch haha. Also my hubby liked the chili but be warned, it’s got a kick to it!

Some of the food was great! Some of it less so. The great food, definitely get: poutine, Ribs, Brisket, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, macaroni. Food to skip: chili (so much grease), collared greens (lacked seasoning), mozzarella sticks (pre bought), French onion (odd aromatic)

Surprisingly family friendly. Very extensive menu consisting of BBQ flair, Tex-Mex and more. Prices are decent for the area and portions are fair!

Tonight I was happy with the service. Our waitress noticed my smoked wings were not up to par for the place, and before she even set them on the table offered to have the kitchen make another batch. To be honest, I’ve never had smoked wings and would have been disappointed and assume they are always over cooked. She brought out the new batch and we switched my sides over. I thought it was exceptional that she offered this to me.

Kids menu includes burger, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, hot dog and more.

I ordered the smoked wings with garlic parmesan flavor and would order them again! Sides of mac and cheese and coleslaw paired excellently.

Husband ordered a three meat feast of some sort and was happy with his pulled pork, ribs and chicken. He likes the baked beans and the cornbread as well.

I have contemplated whether or not I should post this because I am a bar manager and generally am extremely passive and understanding with restaurants and their workers, but this was the worst dining experience i ever had.

I will never forget I was having an extremely hard day, and I decided to go out to eat with my man. We went to limp lizard because I had been craving barbecue; well it turns out it was the takeout one so we decided to leave and drive 20 mins to go to the Liverpool one so we could have a sit down experience. Big mistake. This server was the worst server I’ve ever had in my entire life. It took them 15 minutes to even greet us and get us waters. I don’t think in my entire career that I’ve ever taken that long to serve somebody a drink .

Finally, I asked, “are you guys short staffed today?” because I assumed to take that long, it would need to be a ridiculously difficult situation. The server went quiet. She stared at me with fire in her eyes and said “no, why?”

My partner stated, “because it took 15 minutes to even greet us.” She said, “no it didn’t?” We conceded. I was not in the mood. We ordered our food and tried to be quiet and nice. For the rest of the meal, we were extremely uncomfortable and I was fuming. she was extremely rude to us for the rest of the interaction, snapping at us and making us feel like unwanted guests. I can’t believe we got treated that way. The server looked like she rolled out of bed, jeans and a flannel on, and you know what? I’ve been a bartender/ server for 15 years. I have never been treated that way or treated anyone that way, and I have enough self-respect to dress for the occasion.

I am livid. My partner tipped her almost $20 and she changed her tune, but too late. I am so angry. I have never been humiliated and angry like this, and I have never been treated that way by a server, or treated anyone that way myself
We felt like we were walking on eggshells, and each time she spoke she kept her lips pursed and barely whispered, because of how angry she was.

Girl, if you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. Shameful and tbh she needs to go work at wegmans, she can’t handle being a server. Fire her.

Since I’m not a jerk, I won’t state her name. But it says a lot about the restaurant that they weren’t noticing her being this terrible of a server.

Food was edible I guess. Collard greens disgusting but the pulled pork is good.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I believe it’s worth a visit. The brisket, burn end sandwich was delicious. The jalapeño cornbread was good. It didn’t feel fresh fresh, but it was good. The staff was nice and welcoming. The only thing I would improve is the bread they use in the sandwich, but overall, it was good food.
