This is the 4th time I get a chile Telly I burrito from this place, 1 and 2nd time I was like where is the chile? Then the 3rd time I told the cashier that the night before I had bought another chile relleno burrito and there where only 2 strips of chile and a piece of egg today I went ordered another burrito and the cashier if it would be a whole chile relleno and she said yes after paying over $1700 for a burrito relleno I opened the burrito in my car and this is all I get 2 strips of chile again and more egg than chile.

First off this USED to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately I went on Wednesday 04/02/2025 at 6:02pm and the food was horrible. The quesadilla was way too greasy. The beans in the burrito mojado tasted old, just absolutely disgusting. The cashier was pretty rude. I wanted to order a Michelada but they were out of beer. Very sad this has happened to one of my favorite restaurants! I do not recommend this place at all anymore.

I’m not going to lie I was a little scared eating here at first the outside does not look appealing and the inside is not any better but it was my first time in Merced and was on the search for good food.
They had music playing and looked busy music helped to lure me in, the service however was a bit disappointing costumer service does not exist here.
Food wasn’t too bad I had an asada torta and al pastor taco paid $23
The torta was good bread was warm and soft the meat was a tad bland not much seasoning for my liking but was much better than expected the salsas helped to elevate the taste.
Taco was tasty al pastor meat was seasoned nicely it had a kick to it regular size tortilla

All I have to say is that this place is amazing!! I ordered a wet burrito with carne asada. It had melted cheese over the red sauce as well as inside the burrito. The burrito is delicious and huge. The burrito is so big I had to pace myself so I could finish it. I ordered a grapefruit Jarritos which added a citrus hint to each bite I took. The chips and salsa were good. The service is very friendly and I recommend coming here.

So been wanting to try this place out and going when they have taco Tuesday. So tacos are $1.50 but only chicken and all other meats are $1.75. I got 5 Lengua Tacos (Cow Tongue) and I got them with everything. So as you can see it has a pretty good amount of meat for $1.75 each. The flavor of the Lengua is kinda bland, you need put some salt and use the salsa to give them flavor, I got salsa Verde and it’s pretty flavorful. I’ll rate em a 7/10 for the price and portion. I came with a empty stomach and haven’t eaten throughout the day. I ate them around 2:13 pm and I’m about 35% full. I would consider these more of a craving snack if you are craving something late night or just something to satisfy you for like 2 hours. I paid a total of $9.85 for 5 tacos, not bad. Also comes with free chips but they taste like nothing but oil so yeah, add some salt to them or eat em with your food at the same time.

The food wasn’t too bad. The horchata is cheaper and had more flavor than other restaurants I have visited. I did like the rice and beans- actually had flavor. I wish the Chile Verde sauce was thicker and the doors were a little less soggy, and I could have them without the cheese. The service times weren’t too long and the customer service wasn’t bad either. Overall, I would return again.

Stayed the night in Merced and asked a local for the best Mexican food in town. This place actually wasn’t recommended, but the reviews interested me. I’m glad I picked this place!
Ordered a grilled chicken super burrito. I was a little concerned about the price, but the concern went away after 1.) they gave a side of chips, 2.) I saw how HUGE the burrito was, and 3.) I tasted how delicious the burrito was, really good flavor.
Definitely the largest “super” burrito I have ever seen from a restaurant; I had to save a piece for a snack later. I also liked the thickness and flavor of the tortilla chips. If I’m in Merced again, I’ll definitely go back. Try it out!

The food has change in flavor for sure. I’m not sure if it has change owners since they open. I order the Huarache was decent tasting. I order with half Carnitas and Asada. The carnitas had season but not the Asada. My wife order the the Torta and it was decent size but the Milanesa was plain. The meat lack seasoning and it was tuff. The Torta was a real big turn off. I think that i won’t be stopping by another time there. Sorry!

My favorite food is tacos and I’m a local here in Merced and I like to go around to all the taco shops and trucks to try something new and to see who truly has the best tacos and today I came in to this shop service was great atmosphere was good but the prices were through the roof 4.29$ for a taco so I figured if they’re expensive they should be good I paid 17$ for 4 tacos and they were not what I expected The carne asada had no flavor so I tried to use a little extra salsa and that didn’t help I’m sure other stuff on the menu is good but I do not recommend getting their tacos especially for $17

I will hardly go out of my way to write a bad review on a business as I try to be fair and understand things happen and nothing is perfect. But this place deserves it. I have placed orders three separate occasions from this establishment with the same lady with attitude taking my order and not getting it right 3x and still leaving a “propina” Today is February 3 2022 three strikes your out and I won’t elaborate on past orders just today (but they didn’t get it right then either), it isn’t my fault for not checking the order it’s the establishments fault for not making an order correct 3x in a row that now I’m writing this review, I ordered a carne asada quesadilla. As you can see in the picture I got a carne asada tortilla. I said I will pay for extra chips and salsa which most places will give for free , I got 0 salsa and one small bag of chips. I specifically Ordered a chimichanga with green sauce on the side in Spanish, since they wouldn’t do a “wet” chimichanga I said I’ll pay extra to put sauce on the side, no sauce, my wife’s regular burrito is horrible. The pico seems as it has been sitting since 11am it’s 10pm now. I’m not looking for any refund or free food but the management at this place needs to fire the lady at the phone or register who can’t do the simplest of jobs or be there in the future to guarantee their success of their business because as for me I’ll go to a taco truck rather than this joint. This is a joke. And I don’t want an apology over failed management. Don’t order from this place.
