Most of the menu are seafood.
The fish and chips $28 is very well done. Fish is very fresh and sweet in taste and chips are so crispy. Salad is fresh, sweet, and juicy.
I ordered Cured Hokkaido Scallops $29
Which I’m not sure how it would look.
We got some of raw slices of scallop on top of thin slices of cucumber, cream, some sauce and a bit of minced green leaves. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this dish. I feel like it’s too pricey from what we get. I don’t feel full at all finishing it within 5 minutes.
Their lemon lime bitter $7.50 is the best, rich in taste.
Service is good, meeting high standard.
Service – Irish was very warm, welcoming, and attentive — truly superstar service!
Food – The menu looks great, but the absolute standout was the lasagne.
Parking – A bit difficult, but we were lucky to find a spot just as someone was leaving.
On every visit, Irish has been consistently amazing. Kingfish is lucky to have her.
We’ll definitely be back!
Sorry for the limited photos — the food was so inviting we didn’t get a chance to capture it! But at least we managed to get a lovely photo with Irish
A lightly salted salad with no dressing, fried fish without an overdone batter, and oysters presented in a simple way with just small, thoughtful touches — all of it was excellent. Even the fries, without spices, just a bit of salt… perfect.
It was refreshing to experience a meal where nothing was trying too hard, yet everything tasted exactly as it should.
Definitely miss how this place used to be, prior to the ‘renovation’.
Bring back the simple menu, where food quality was actually great.
Kids dishes came out first, followed by our mains 20 minutes later .
Sent one of the kids dishes back immediately, as batter burnt/rock hard. (First time my kids have refused to eat fish and chips ) Then upon receiving the replacement, we decided to just remove the hard overcooked batter as it seemed the staff thought it was “ok”.
Salad apparently means JUST lettuce?.
Beautiful view, but the service was atrocious. staff quite dismissive, replaced burnt dish but just walked over, placed on table and wouldn’t discuss meal further, which was disappointing.
Highly recommend just going to a corner fish n chip shop, somewhere else. Everything was overpriced & the seafood here wasn’t enjoyable, at all.
Very oily and burnt batter.
Potentially a 5 Star Restaurant, if run and set up better (food quality improved and staff that make you feel welcome) but unfortunately it’s only of 1 star quality.
Order:
• Chicken Schnitzel ($34)-
While slightly on the dry side, still delivered good flavour.
• Wagu Cheeseburger ($29)-
Good portion, but tasted like an average cheeseburger from maccas but still enjoyable
• Roasted Pumpkin ($14)-
I can confidently call the standout of the entire meal. This side dish was exceptional. The portion was generous, the flavours were rich and well-balanced and it genuinely stood out as one of the best side dishes I’ve ever had.
• Lunch Special: Crumbed Calamari ($25)-
It beautifully presented. The calamari was cooked perfectly, tender, well-seasoned, and incredibly enjoyable. I have always eaten crispy calamari but this was the best I’ve had by far, so tender.
• Brown Sugar Tart ($16)-
Offered the perfect level of sweetness. While I wasn’t particularly fond of the white sauce served alongside it, the tart on its own was delightful.
• Chocolate & Ferrero Rocher Gelato ($7)-
Together they created a rich, indulgent finish to the meal.
• Fanta X2 ($13)-
Cold a fresh
Overall, generous portions, great presentation and a few unforgettable dishes — especially that roasted pumpkin. The music is the best I have ever listened to. Whoever chose the playlist definitely should remain connected to the Bluetooth as it plays a big part, calm energy and soothing vibes. I’d happily come back again
They even have a separate menu for taking food as takeaway which is cheaper deals and very handy for customers
