Was excited to visit Gauchos Grill Centrum for its all-you-can-eat ribs. Ordered the unlimited ribs and a sirloin steak, medium rare. The sirloin was perfectly cooked as requested. The first batch of ribs had a nice crunchy exterior and char around the edges, served with a thick sweet glaze that was pretty good. However, subsequent orders of ribs were dry and tough. The food took a long time to arrive, and the subsequent ribs came in half portions per top-up, making it not worth the wait.
Despite providing feedback and receiving apologies from the staff, along with an offer to replace the ribs, decided to decline due to the long wait times between orders. Overall, it was an average experience that could be improved with quicker service and more consistent rib quality.

Food was really good, everything was cooked perfectly! The grilled shrimp and meat were both excellent. A tip would be the plating, which was a bit basic. It was rucola every time, also the restaurant felt a bit old and not well taken care off. But don’t get me wrong, these are just tips. At the end of the day, the food is the most important!

The steaks were great, tasty and tender. I would recommend medium rare (actually mine came out as rare, but that is fine personally). The starters and sides were good as well, and I do regret not getting the sweet potato fries instead as they look really good. The pork ribs looked good as well.

I had dinner on Wednesday 9/25/24 with two other people. The quality of two of the three main dishes was average to poor. the baking I requested was not what it should have been. The desserts were also mediocre without offering anything special. but the worst was when the bill came. i paid cash and as it was

the waiter came a little later and informed me that he could not accept the €200 bill because the manager told her that he would not have to give change to future customers. when I explained to her that it is a European Union banknote and she cannot refuse it, she continued not to accept it. I pointed out to her that she had not informed me earlier that she does not accept such a banknote, but also that from what I noticed, nothing similar is written anywhere in the store, the waitress continued not to accept it. finally I informed her that I will appeal to the consuWijzer service

The food was good! We got the rib-eye and the meat was nice and tender. Keep in mind that it is a bit pricy. Great place for a date night.

Meat focused restaurant with a choice between different kinds of steak and ribs. Tasty and good quality food, friendly service but pretty expensive. Places to sit are sometimes quite cramped and one has to speak up so not to sit uncomfortably.

Food: Argentinian selection as appetizer. Chorizo 4/5 slightly pink. Salsa.. Supermarket level. Make your own. Prawn ok. Empanda ok++. Main course: Combinatie van cuadril, entrecote en rib-eye… meat..no complaints 4+. Pepper sauce asparagus and argentinian fries. Very nice!.
Chimichurri.. expected a lot..nice different style with bigger chunks but NO spicy chili at all. Not really taste garlic nor parsley.. missed Chimichurri kick and acid..consider 2 versions if afraid

Without a doubt, THE better steaks in Rotterdam! If you’re not a big meat fan, you can order prawns or salmon steak. For vegans they have a burger or fresh vegetables, so everyone will be happy 🙂

Speaking of which, reservation is needed and there might be a little wait for your table (if they are really busy).
The menu is so good it was hard to choose but they did not disappoint. Steaks were tender and tasty, and done to perfection (for me).
Be careful of the side dishes; it was a big surprise when the grilled mushrooms (so big)came.
Their dessert menu…let’s just say it’s so good, you’d wish you didn’t finish the steak.
It was great night out with friends to celebrate an anniversary.
