My cream of crab soup was too thick. I could taste the roux of flour and water. Lots of crab, but the roux overpowered the taste of crab. Hamburger was excellent, rare as ordered. Mushrooms, onions and Swiss cheese, half pound fresh beef! French fries were thin, hot and tasty. Waitress was excellent, as were other wait staff.

Have been here multiple times for happy hour, the food is always amazing as well as the service and it’s reasonably priced. The creamsicle crush is delicious! First time I ever had one and now I look for them everywhere I go. The atmosphere is nice could go for some ceiling tile repairs. On one occasion I’m assuming it was the air conditioning condensation dripping from the ceiling. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs. Plenty of parking available. This is a spot that I will continue to frequent. I’ve also had the appetizer sampler which was amazing and is enough for a meal alone. The cream of crab and crab pretzel are tasty as well. Only dislike is the bathroom is located on the lower level where you’re not likely to be seated.

WARNING ⚠️ This is NOT like the Glenmont location.
For 30 years I lived in Wheaton. My family, friends and co-workers (from a nearby elementary school where I taught) frequented the Glenmont SGP for dinners, lunches, happy hours, birthdays, karaoke nights, 1/2 price pizza nights, and even baby and wedding showers for our fellow school staff. One of our favorite waitresses was a kindergarten teacher at her day job. Everyone, always, loved the food – all the food. It was consistently high quality with reasonable prices. When we imbibed, the beer was cold and the drinks strong
A few years ago I retired and moved away from the area. This week we came to Elkridge for a few days to visit our grandkids. I booked our 3 night stay at the BWI Best Western, intentionally so we could have our meals at the SGP at this location. I excitedly anticipated our trip.
BIG DISAPPOINTMENT . I understand that it’s a different location, but if it’s going to have the same name it ought to have a similar standard of quality, right? Here’s mine and my family’s opinion of what we ordered over 2 days:
Spinach Artichoke dip with French bread: 2/5 tasteless, tiny portion, soggy bread.
8″ White pizza: 3/5 super tiny for price, lacking cheese and taste.
Loaded Baked Potato: 2/5 small potato, little toppings, kinda hard and dry.
Chicken tenders with fries: 4/5 not bad and generous portions, but nothing special and pretty bland.
Baked Chicken wings: 1/5 overcooked, size of a parakeet, ridiculously overpriced at nearly $20 and doesn’t include fries.

Stayed in the hotel across the street from them so it was very convenient to us, well it was a great surprise since food was delicious. Friendly staff and good prices. Had never try gumbo before so I have nothing to compare it to, with that said it was delicious, well season and not too spicy…also very filling, it’s a big portion plate, well worth it. If I’m ever in the area I would definitely return.

I stayed at the Best Western next door so I went over for dinner 2 days. The first day I had the best buffalo wings and Caesar salad. The next day I had the cheeseburger sliders and fries and they were excellent. The owner was very welcoming as well as the bartenders and other staff. I really enjoyed myself and looking forward to going back again one day even if I am not staying at the hotel

The food was great! This meal was the highlight of our cruise vacation. I had the soup half and half which is New England claim chowder and Maraland Crab soup with the crab cake and ship sandwich. The sandwich was huge and incredibly delicious. It was well worth it and so glad I had the soup and sandwich. If any thing was disappointing was the salad is a lot of lettuce that was not necessary. Amazing lunch and service.

Nice staff, very professional and efficient. Atmosphere is very casual. Also kid friendly and good for larger groups. The menu is extensive for everybody’s dietary needs. We each had the fish and chips. Overall good.

The Stained Glass Pub delivers a great neighborhood dining experience with a casual, welcoming vibe. The menu offers a solid variety—from classic pub fare to surprisingly good entrees. The pizza stood out as a highlight: crispy crust, generous toppings, and plenty of flavor. Their wings were also worth mentioning—crispy, well-seasoned, and served hot.

Service was friendly and attentive, even during a busy dinner rush. Our server checked in regularly without being overbearing, and the food came out at a good pace. The bar area was lively without being too loud, and the drink selection had a good mix of local brews, cocktails, and standards.

The interior could use a little updating—it feels a bit dated in places—but it adds to the local charm and laid-back atmosphere. Parking was a bit tight, especially on a weekend evening, so plan accordingly.

Overall, the Stained Glass Pub is a reliable spot for good food, a relaxed environment, and consistently pleasant service. A few small improvements could easily bump this to a 5-star experience

Some of the best pizza in Howard County! This is a wonderful, welcoming neighborhood staple with live music on some weekends, great bar and table service, and a wide variety of great American food. I’ve been a regular here for almost two decades and often recommend it to others.

We were looking for food in a thunderstorm with a hungry 2 year old, and thankfully we stumbled upon Stained Glass Pub!
Got the Crab dip cheesy Pretzel to start, which my two year old practically devoured!
The Seafood Club was amazing! Packed with lots of bacon, crabcake, and shrimp! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We also tried the stuffed jumbo shrimp! Super tasty and filling!
My partner got an Orange “Crush.” Strong cocktail inspired by the Orioles
Also tried the fish n chips, creamy crab soup, and more crab cakes!
Everything came out fresh and hot and had good flavor! Great spot to try!
