If i could give 0 stars i would. I am extremely upset and honestly disturbed by what I witnessed tonight.
On February 16, 2026 around 8:30 PM at the McDonald’s – Rootstown (Store #11116), I returned a dinner box because the fries were ice cold. I had already taken a bite and spit them back into the fry bag because they were that cold.
I went inside and asked for fresh fries.
The manager on duty (savannah) opened my box at the counter and poured the fries I had already eaten from and spit back into, directly into the fry warmer beside the counter.
I told her they were ice cold and before I could finish Her response was that the fries have a “time limit” on when they’re good and not good. I continued explaining again that they had been in my mouth. She said, “Well, I didn’t know that.”
But even after I repeated multiple times, “You’re not going to take those out of there? You’re going to serve those to somebody else?” — they were never removed from the warmer…so if you got a chewed up spitty fry in your food, its bc the manager wouldn’t listen.
At that point, it’s no longer about whether the fries were within a time window. It’s about contamination.
Once food has been in a customer’s mouth, it should never go back into rotation. Ever.
What if I had something contagious? The thought that someone else could have been served food I had already spit into is beyond unacceptable.
This is a serious food safety concern.

I have ordered from here 3 times on Doordash, even specifically adding AND PAYING for extra sauce and to add a straw for my drink (the straw does not add a charge) and STILL you guys can’t even complete that order! All 3 times I have received no sauce for my nuggets and no straw for my drink. How hard is it to read a damn ticket? I get forgetting to add it but when it’s a separate item what are you doing? Obviously not your job!

I’m very grateful that I did. The place is gorgeous. Very neat and tidy.
The bathrooms are clean and very private. The employees are helpful especially for those that do not know how to use the kiosks.

If you’re going to charge an extra 30 cents for tea (UNSWEET or Sweet), please make sure to get it correct. Big hint, my order will always be UNSWEET Tea because that’s what she likes.

If I could give 0 stars I would absolutely ridiculous dude I first went thru for breakfast and ordered big breakfast with hotcakes and a oatmeal I get all yhe way home now oatmeal so I drive back up and go thru drive thru explain they say okay come thru we will give u another I also ordered another breakfast for my boy and I kid you not they forget the oatmeal again so I have to go back in and get oatmeal so then we get home they literally gave us no syrup for the pancakes I mean seriously come on there was atleast 5 or 6 of you working and I mean guys how hard is it to read whats on the order and bag it I mean how do you forget syrup for pancakes guys thats just sad yall need to get it together miscommunication no more like completely careless more like you just dont give a crap!!!! I can understand a simple mistake but 3 in one order like that na that not cool!!!!!!!

McDonald’s is McDonald’s. Some are worse than others but it is hard for one to really set itself apart. This McDonald’s produced the best looking burger I have ever had at a McD’s. Usually the burgers are a squashed mess, leaking and dripping. This burger looked just like the ones in the ads. Full, showing toppings and the burger. It looked great. The grill team did a great job.
Unfortunately….the cleanup guy was working while we were there and he diligently wiped down everything from the drink machine to the floor with THE SAME WIPE RAG. Not sanitary at all. I don’t blame the guy. He was diligent in his work. But no one seemed to train him that you don’t use a rag on the floor then a food handling surface.

Placed a mobile order. Got the food, not only was a burger missing, but all the sandwiches were terribly made, fries were ice cold. A bunch of younger kids inside working. I go back around for a refund, they already knew the mistake, they take off running, laughing, and one employee just eating from within view of the window. They then say ther drawer is closed. Never Again.

I’ve always had the best service here. Food is fresh, staff is friendly and attentive. A couple years ago we were there dining in and my toddler hit her head on the corner of the table by accident. She was crying and the staff immediately brought her a happy meal toy. I cannot say enough how much the small acts of kindness and amazing service means.
