Taziki’s on Main Street is a solid spot in downtown Chattanooga. The atmosphere is decent—it’s a two-story, well-used space. While it’s clean and comfortable, it’s definitely more functional than fancy. That said, the location is excellent, especially if you’re walking from nearby offices or event venues.
The staff were pleasant and polite, though they didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the food beyond the basics. They got the job done, but if you’re looking to dig into ingredients or prep methods, you may not get much insight.
The food concept is great—a fresh, Mediterranean-style chain with healthier options than many burger joints nearby. I ordered the chicken wrap with roasted red potatoes. The Taziki sauce and fresh ingredients were spot on, though the chicken itself was a little rubbery—likely because it was the end of the day on a Sunday.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Despite the slightly overcooked chicken, the meal was a great value, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely worth a return visit.

Wow where do I start? The food was superb, I got the Harrisa Spiced Chicken Gyro and also got a Lamb Gyro both were astonishingly great, I’ve found it fairly difficult to find good fresh ingredients like these in Chattanooga and this blew me away from what I’d expected. Loved the second floor window seating and the staff was so mannered & polite, ended up having a pretty good conversation with the gentleman that took my order up front and that’s always a pleasure. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody looking for lunch between 8-14 dollars! The only downside is parking obviously but, they do have special takeout parking spots next to the building, although I was dine in, it was extremely thoughtful in the city. 9.3/10!

I walked by this cafe before the gym and saw the “summer salds” ad. After powerwalking, weight and swimming, I returned to buy the Greek Salad with Salmon Filet to go. I took it home sight-unseen and found this lovely presentation, fresh, delicious, tomatoes, olives, cucumber…cheese, plenty of dressing, a wedge of toast and a LOVELY AND DLEICIOUS AND BIG…SALMON FILET (wrapped in foil to stay hot). Most delicious salad I have had in years…(outside of my own home-made!).

I visited this place based on the reviews on Mother’s day 2021. It was absolutely dead inside just me and one other table upstairs. I was a little worried that the reviews had failed. However being a holiday I can see why at the time they were not busy as it was between lunch and dinner hour. I ordered my at the counter self serve drink. One thing that is a definite turn off for me is to ask for a tip on a counter order. I don’t see the point. I was pleased with the food when arriving it was well put together and hot. I have to say the tomatoe cucumber salad is really good and the beef was really tasty too. I would definitely visit this establishment and try other dishes.

We had a big catering order for an event, and the catering staff was amazing and super helpful. All of our order was complete upon pickup and the employees were helpful in getting it loaded into our vehicle. The Market St. Taziki Cafe in Chattanooga TN is awesome! I made an online catering order for the wrong date. Thankfully I called a little over an hour before I was planning to pick up my order, when I realized I had put the wrong catering date. Ashley and her team were quick to help and she said they can fulfill my order in the time I needed. They made it happen and my event went off as planned! Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe is worth going to and trying. One hundred percent would eat at Taziki’s and taste their fresh quality Greek food again. I think Taziki’s is one of the best ethnic restaurants I have ever had, and the quality of the food really stands out. The prices for the gyros and sides are definitely worth it due to the quality and flavors. Taziki’s is good for kids, adults, family, friends, and anybody who wants to have good quality fresh ethnic food. Taziki’s is also good for large groups, as they serve large feast items for big groups of people. Taziki’s is the place you want to be if you want an amazing and patient server. You can tell they use their Mediterranean style of connection with the community.

Staff needs training on customer service skills. I was not greeted, not even a thank you was said. The employee that took my order had an annoyed attitude at my presence. The food was not bad tasting, but for the price I was expecting more rice, especially since its a low cost ingredient. The atmosphere is on theme with the Mediterranean vibe but unfortunately it was quite dirty.
