I’ve been here a couple times now. The food is good and tastes fresh. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits had a little crunch to them and were delicious. The gravy was a little spicy for my tastes but I think it also had bacon fat which helped the fact it was a little light on sausage. When we visit this area we will come here again.

Stopped by for pick-up for my first meal from Grouchy’s. I ordered by phone and they were patient and thorough. Although I didn’t stay, I’ll be going back to sit down next time! Food was great, the crew seemed really nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was very pleasant with lots of cool artwork all over. My California omelette was delicious and my friends loved pancakes and the Traditional Benny with what might be the best hollandaise sauce around town. I’ll be back!

Shortly after this restaurant changed hands I had two less than perfect experiences and wrote a review to reflect that. This now was months back and today’s meal was excellent. I deleted the less than perfect review and now give this restaurant great marks. The chicken fried steak was hand breaded in the kitchen and excellent. The hashbrowns were great and the sausage gravy was also good. The eggs over easy were perfect. As always, the service was excellent. This was a very different meal than I had months back. Good job you guys.

Great restaurant for breakfast and brunch! The food is amazing, thr service is friendly and attentive, and it has a great vibe with local art and a cozy feel! We got the BBQ Brisket Browns and the Steak and Eggs plates, but got the eggs on my browns insted and substituted for roasted vegtables! They were super nice about the strange order which we did because of dietary restrictions, didn’t miss a beat and fully accommodated us. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back!

My bf and son really liked their food. I was unsure about the Benedict, it had a lot of different veggies and kinda spicy. But it was okay none the less.

I loved this place when it was Diamond Jim’s and it’s only gotten better. I had the BBQ Brisket Hashbrowns this time around. The plan was to save half for later, but it was too good. Like pick up the plate and lick it delicious. The staff were cool and the appropriate amount of attentive.
My only suggestion is to add a black velvet portrait of me on one, or more, of the walls.
There was a short wait at 9 a.m. on a post-turkey day Friday.

Great greasy spoon diner. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, my kids had pancakes and french toast. Everything was well prepared and presented beautifully. We will definitely be coming back!

Ordered one of my favorite breakfast meals — eggs Benedict. I enjoyed that everything seemed freshly made, but the hollandaise sauce had a vinegar taste. Not too strong, but definitely there. Came with home fries that had bits of burnt pieces of potato in them. All still edible, but with room for improvement.

I have gone and sat inside, the servers are exceptional.
Albeit my husband picked up food to go; we got the manslide like we always do, the fried potatoes were half raw. Some were OK but a majority of it wasn’t. My ordered my eggs runny, and it looked under cooked as well had a rubbery texture.
The sausage it came with was so spicy, which its never been that spicy before. Whether they have new seasoning I dont know. And our biscuits were dry and hard.
I really feel they gave us someone’s order they didnt want to remake and its been waiting, or they gave us old biscuits.
It really sucked considering we spent 40 dollars on food just for us to throw it away.
Hoping for better quality next time, the servers and staff are always amazing otherwise
