This seemed to be mostly known for it’s North Indian-style street food. I do appreciate that it’s a mix between a counter-serve and dine-in spot, where you order, find a table, and people bring you your food. This style is less common in Indian restaurants, where it usually trends towards either dine-in or takeout

I had the vada pav, which is a sandwich of fried potato filling between two slices of bread.
Unfortunately, this was just bad

The bread was cold. Like not even just lukewarm, straight up cold. Obviously, it wasn’t toasted in the slightest either. My guess is they took it off the shelf and just threw it on the plate.
The potato filling was not good either. It had very few spices and tasted mostly like mush. The fry on the potato was extremely soft and not crispy at all. This fried ball was also just way too large for the sandwich. Every bite was like 90% potato filling and that’s it. It got old very quickly.

The chutneys were not good either. Especially the green chutney, which might have been the most bland chutney I’ve ever had

I tried the samosa chaat, and this was a sickly sweet mess.

The price is actually not terrible – you get a meal for 10-15 dollars. The only problem is the quality is awful.

Overall, this ranks as one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to. 1.5/10

Good place for vegetarian food, especially for those with dietary restrictions like jain or Swaminarayan.

We’ve been here multiple times and tried many dishes. Most of the dishes are good, except misal pav.

Paneer taco was just a cold raw roti, I expected the taco to be crunchy. Vada pav was super spicy. Another day I tried Chinese bhel, but it was just noodles with sev. They have a big menu, but nothing really meets the standard.

We tried Honest Restaurant in Bellevue and really enjoyed it! We ordered dabeli, pav bhaji, and masala. Both the food and the environment are so good here. Will definitely come again and try more!

A must-visit spot for authentic Mumbai street food lovers.

What we tried: Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Raj Kachori, Thali, Dabeli

Verdict:
The pav bhaji is impressively close to what you’d find on the streets of Mumbai — that distinct, flavorful punch that sets it apart from versions found elsewhere in India. The vada pav is also excellent, capturing the right spice and texture. Special shoutout to the Raj Kachori — it’s massive, delicious, and absolutely worth trying. The dabeli lives up to Mumbai standards too. However, the thali was quite average and can easily be skipped. Don’t miss their filter coffee — strong, aromatic, and a perfect end to the meal.

Service: Very quick and efficient.
Ambience: Nothing noteworthy, but honestly, with food this good, you don’t mind.

One suggestion: Stick to what you do best — Mumbai street food. It’s your strength, and trying to diversify too much might dilute the experience. That said, I’m curious to try their South Indian and North Indian offerings next time.

Honestly dissatisfied with the experience. We ordered special pulav, Dahi puri and paneer tikka sandwich.

Dahi puri was good. No complaints.

Pulav portion can be seen in the picture. It’s like a small portion which should may be 7-8$ but they charged 12$. The taste is just like rice mixed with chilli and masala powder.

Paneer tikka sandwich – why would a sandwich taste sweet !?

All in all, it felt like the water was tastier here.

Expensive junk, we come very often however this time it was different. They jacked price of all the dishes by 20-30% with no enhancement in taste . Raw spices its better to dine in fancy Indian restaurant . Dabbang dosa jacked up by $4 ($20-$22) for such a soggy. Dosa

What I had:
1) Cheese Dabeli
Huge portion size. They are not shy of putting cheese. Taste was good.

2) Pav Bhaji
Excellent taste! Highly recommend.

3) Dahi Puri
Tasty and good portion. Great choice.

4) Vada Pav
Okayish but spicy. Although they did give sauces, chutneys, and a chilli on the side too.

I also had Ginger Tea which was very good. They also snuck in 2 Parle G biscuits which is appreciated.

Overall, a good experience. Ambience could be better.

We tried Honest Restaurant in Bellevue and really enjoyed it! We ordered dabeli, pav bhaji, and masala coke. The dabeli and masala coke were absolutely the best. It was flavorful, fresh, and exactly how they should be. Pav bhaji was good too, but the dabeli definitely stood out. A great spot if you’re craving authentic Indian street food.

Been here several times. Amazing vegetarian Indian cuisine.Their Dabeli , Amul butter vada Pav , dosas and chaat options are definitely amazing, but the way it’s served can look a little better. They have some really good milkshakes too. The sambar that’s served with South Indian dishes is really tasty, but the chutneys are not the most fresh ones, mostly previously refrigerated. One can have a good Indian thaali too. Always crowded and difficult to find seating in peak hours.
