Arrived at 1137 seated immediately. Order taken at 1142 fast turn around. Apps came out all together at 1151. I really appreciate it. Food arrived at 1200 hot and looks good. Chicken was moist but steak was tuff. That seems to be a theme with apple bees. Over all was a good meal. Adam was a great server very friendly and helpful. 4 star mainly due to tuff steak.

So, I ordered over the phone. So, I got the animated lady. Placed my order and a short bit later pulled up to Applebees curb side. Within minutes the manager, Casey was out at our car. He was extremely nice and quick to go retrieve our order. When he returned he gently explained and apologized to us. As it turned out they were out of breadsticks. He was so kind and very sorry our order wasn’t perfect. “No worries”, really I said but Mr Casey ( store manager) wasn’t having it. He insisted on making things right with us. He took a hit so his customer was satisfied. Dang, how we were too. I told him I was going to leave a great review for our New Braunfels Applebees! Everyone should go try Applebees again and again!! They are always so polite and happy to serve you. But the best part is they keep you coming back with their down home comfort. Also, it’s great to see the decor done all in New Braunfels theme. They’re surely proud to be in our community and it shows. So, now we frequent there often and love it!! It feels great to be greeted by name each visit. They treat the locals like ol friends and tourists with open arms. So I highly recommend you go in a say hello to Casey and enjoy yourself.

This is the first time in my 45 years of life that I Did not leave a tip. I came in tonight with my daughter because it was Tuesday and kids eat for $1.99. I don’t often go out to eat, and when I do, I like to save money when I can. I was seated quickly And my server, Justin G Started out very attentive and kind. However, after he gave us our food, we did not see him for a very long time, and I waited for a box and the bill. Because I waited so long, I handed him my credit card before looking at the bill and he walked away and ran the card, but when I looked at the receipt, I noticed he charged me for a full kids meal. When he came back with the receipt that I paid, I Asked if they were still running the dollar $1.99 kids special. He replied with “Oh is it Tuesday?” This was shocking because the place was full of kids. And he seemed like a waiter who had worked there for a while and would know that Tuesday was kids night. He offered to go speak to a manager, but when he finally came back, he Said all his manager could do was give me a free kids meal when I came back. I did not want to come back. I wanted the bill fixed and he said it was not possible to Refund me And rerun my credit card. I explained to him that that was absurd and that if the bill was incorrect, they should be able to do that or he should be able to offer me another option. He could’ve even said I can refund you and then you pay cash or something, but he didn’t offer anything else and just stared at me with an odd look as if I was crazy. He did say “I’m sorry this was my fault” which I agreed, but I explained to him that his manager could pay his tip because I was overcharged for my meal.

My husband and I are going through a hard time with our move to Texas. Every road block that can happen has happened. We were able to go out for a few minutes to breath and enjoy a small break. Deb, our server at Applebee’s was an absolute joy! She was cute, sweet, attentive, cared about our needs and just made the whole experience wonderful. Thank you so much! This is how service should be.

I just left Applebee’s new braunfels with my sister and bf.
We got there late , close to closing time and the man that greeted and sat us clearly didn’t want to be bothered with us, as he threw us off onto the lady that was cleaning a section and obviously finishing up. She was sweeping and about to mop, but I guess he was done for the day because he didn’t care that we had to step over a pile of swept up debris to get to our table. He just told her he’s sitting us there and walked away. He went on to prop up on the bar and scroll on his phone. We didn’t say anything about it because we didn’t want him serving us anyway with those disgusting long nails he had along with the horrid body odor coming off him. Our server Nichole was great. She served us despite the late hour, despite she was clearly on her way out, and she served us with a smile. If she was annoyed, we couldn’t tell. The food was good. Came out quick and hot. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the good service from Nichole. If not for her, I’d give 1 star for his dismissive behavior and bad presentation of himself. Maybe better luck next time.

We had a good experience at Applebee’s. The staff was friendly and attentive, and although the restaurant was a bit chilly, it wasn’t enough to take away from the meal. My husband really enjoyed his Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage, and I liked my sampler, especially the quesadillas, boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, and the spinach artichoke dip.
The only downside was the chips that came with the dip; they tasted old and stale. I ended up taking the dip home and enjoying it with my own chips, which made a big difference. Aside from that, everything else was tasty and we left satisfied.
Overall, a solid visit and we’d return.

Our server was Nicole and she went above and beyond. We were never without drinks! Food came out promptly and as ordered. They ran out of crayons and she went out of her way to make sure my son had something to color with. Absolutely AMAZING!
