The timing of each course was impeccable, with dishes arriving hot and perfectly paced. The highlight of our meal was the bacon-wrapped shrimp with the caribbean sauce. And those sidewinder fries; yummy! Every bite delivered a seafood experience that keeps us coming back. Thank you for consistently exceeding expectations!
Coming inside, the atmosphere was very fitting for what is presented as a tavern. It’s not my kind of environment but I appreciate the aesthetic they were going for. It wasn’t super smokey which I also appreciate.
First and foremost, I honestly came here for the oysters as I love to have them around my bday (I don’t like attention which is why this was not mentioned to staff). The taste were fine, but I did not find the color pleasant and the lack of shucking done properly. On top of that I had to spit out shells/debris to almost all of them. My husband’s Cajun Jambalaya seemed like it was made from canned tomatoes. All we tasted was spaghetti which is unfortunate.
The Shrimp boil was okay, nothing to write home about. Was kind of oily so maybe not good for someone who’s sensitive. The saving grace for me was the Steak and Crab dish. They cooked my steak perfectly and the crab tasted fantastic. However, the veggies in it were soggy and gross.
Our waiter was subpar, didn’t seem like he cared too much about tending to our needs as much as others. Otherwise he was okay for the most part.
Would we come back here? Probably not. Unless we get invited out here by family/friends.

The servers has been great as well. The bar area is in the front by the entrance but there are televisions that you can see in the restaurant area as well. When you first walk in if you aren’t a smoker the smell will hit kind of heavy once you initially enter, but the smell dies down once you are sitting in the restaurant for a while. I will be returning…
Portions were generous and staff was quick with refills and requests.
Sadly, smoking is allowed at the bar but ventilation and distance made it tolerable in the adjacent dining room.
