We stopped in for lunch at Slim Chickens here in Rogers and were blown away from the moment we walked in. The service at the point of sale was welcoming and quick, and it only got better from there.
We tried the tenders, a club sandwich meal, and split the Buffalo Tender Mac Bowl — all fresh, hot, and full of flavor. That Mac Bowl is a must try if you’re looking for comfort with a kick!
I want to give a special shout-out to Phillip and the manager who was walking the floor and checking on tables. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests made the experience stand out. It’s rare these days to see a team who takes pride in every part of the meal—from the kitchen to the table.
The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and every staff member we interacted with showed great professionalism and kindness. It’s clear this location takes pride in what they do.
Final thought:
It’s easy to serve food. It’s harder to serve people with care — and they did both beautifully. We’ll definitely be back!

I went through the drive-through ordered three meals totally $53. I got home. The meal was incorrect and I was missing a sandwich so I went back. I got the sandwich compensation and the sandwich was cold. Asked for a new one. They said they sent me with the same, I called the manager. He said he could send me $15 in the mail. I told him no please don’t please just make it more convenient for your customers. I’m very upset about this.

That location is far too busy to rely on AI for drive-through orders. It took over 15 minutes just to place our order because it kept getting entered incorrectly, and what we received was completely different from what we ordered. Technology can be helpful, but this location needs someone quick and accurate handling orders.
The food quality here is better than the Regional and 14th Street locations, where the food is terrible, but service flow at this store needs improvement. There were several employees standing around the register while the drive-through experience felt disorganized. It also seemed like dine-in customers were getting more attention than drive-through.
The new blockage in the drive-through lane is confusing. We thought drive-through was closed and almost left, especially since we had kids sleeping in the car and going inside can be loud and inconvenient.

Such a great experience. Very kind manager! Great work ethic and enthusiasm. Definitely recommend(: they make sure your food is hot and if not, they are willing to remake it. The manager gave my husband and I 2 free desserts to makeup for the wait and remake of wings.

It was the 1st time to this location and we enjoyed the set up plus the decor. We also enjoyed our choice in menu items as my daughter had wings as I devoured the Memphis BBQ Chicken Sandwich. She really loves the mac and cheese over the fries (compared to a food truck that offers smoked mac and cheese) as we both loved the brownie for our dessert. If or when we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely visit this location as they were friendly with everyone that entered in addition to making sure everyone’s food was to the customers satisfaction.

So disappointed! I bought these wings for the first time. I spent over $10 for these wings. They were dry and with little meat on them. I pulled the pieces of meat off the Bone just to show how dry they are. Do not spend your money on these. If you have to put sauce on them to make them taste good they are not good wings. Do not spend your money.

Either this was my first time to Slim’s or my first time in years as I’m from Illinois and didn’t move down until this year.
I had ordered the Slim’s Meal with okra as a side and a sweet tea, and my eyes were bigger than my stomach because of the garlic bread.

Not only did I wait in the Drive-Thru for 45 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me. They then decided to just pour the sauce on top of my wings instead of shaking them in it. Which caused the box to break and leak all over my truck due to the extra sauce. Also wings were not covered at all they dumped it in one spot. This place is really going downhill it’s a shame because I used to love it.
