The food was very average although the wait staff was extremely talented and attentive. Our waitress had about 20 specials memorized and was always there when we needed something which was much appreciated especially being in a big party.

**Disappointing Valentine’s Day Dinner at Buon Amici Italian Restaurant**

I’m extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Buon Amici Italian Restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Despite making reservations in advance, our party of 9 was seated at a cramped round table that was clearly meant for a smaller group. We were wedged in between the walkway, constantly getting jostled by servers and other diners throughout the evening.
To make matters worse, the regular menu was unavailable on Valentine’s Day, and we were forced to opt for the prefix menu, which was ridiculously overpriced. The prices were more than double what we would normally expect to pay, and the portions were not significantly larger to justify the hike. The only redeeming quality was the option to choose coffee and dessert at the end of the meal, but even that couldn’t make up for the lackluster food and poor service.
Speaking of the food, I was underwhelmed by my Black Linguine with seafood, which was supposed to feature a flavorful Sepia Marinara sauce. Unfortunately, the dish was bland and uninspired, with a paltry amount of seafood. The pasta sides on some of our orders looked like they were plated by a child, which was a laughable attempt at presentation.
Overall, our experience at Buon Amici Italian Restaurant was a letdown, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. It’s clear that the restaurant took advantage of the Valentine’s Day rush to gouge their customers with exorbitant prices. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian dining experience, I would recommend exploring other options. Unless Buon Amici addresses their pricing and service issues, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here.

We walked by and walked in around noon on Sat. There was no wait to be seated. Water and bread and olives and butter were brought to us right away. It took a little wait, and the steak was worth the wait. My 2 yo enjoyed his pasta, too. Because of how the structure was built, even when it wasn’t packed, it was loud enough to drown my voice when I tried to tell my kid to behave. The restrooms were very small and I didn’t see a changing table. The people who worked there were nice and helpful. The overall experience was very good!

We had a drink and dinner here. We sat at the bar for a glass of wine before dinner. The bartender was quick getting our order and had a good friendly personality. We then headed to our table for some dinner. Our waitress was terrific….friendly and attentive. They have a big selection of food and there were several specials (both appetizers and entrees). The entrees include seafood, beef and pastas. Our meals were really good and they have generous portions. It’s easy to get to and has a nice casual atmosphere. I’ll eat here again next time I’m in the area.

Enjoyed dinner with a decades-long regular. Got my fill of seafood salad and black linguine Pescatore. Cheesecake and espresso to finish a classic Italian meal. My friend’s filet mignon was medium rare to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit.

There is no single negative thing I can say about this place. Reservations are strongly recommended before going there. We went there on a Saturday night for dinner. The food was out of this world! Went here with a group of friends. The atmosphere was nice and the waiter was on point. They have so many appetizers and so many choices for main courses that they don’t have room on the menu. My meal was very good and I have no complaints. We will definitely go there again all in all everybody had a good time, and the food was to their satisfaction.
