We came here on a recommendation and glad we did. It’s oddly placed in a strip mall so we would never have found it otherwise.
And I wish I took a better picture of our meal but wanted to give a shout out to the rara lamb gosht. It was probably the most tender lamb we have ever eaten at an Indian restaurant. Butter nan and papadum were also excellent. And we loved that papadum was in the salad section : )

We tried Chicken Korma and Kadhai Chicken.
The portions were okay and the taste was good!

Though, main dishes were good BUT the naans and Rotis were not freshly made and definitely NOT ‘made in tandoor’, as they describe in their menu. They were literally like frozen or ready-to-eat superstore type naans.

Place was very yummy! The waiter and staff were super friendly, and really gave the place a warm energy. The food came out very fast. Especially for a Saturday night. And the flavors were great. The price was also very reasonable, and I’m curious to try other things on the menu Next time I come into town.

This place is super delicious, small spot , not busy at all at 5pm on a Friday. Every curry we ordered was excellent. Worth noting that mild means no spice, the medium was about 2.5 out of 5 on heat. Generous portions, the rice is not sticky and very flavorful. The naan is over the top delicious, especially the keema naan.
very friendly staff, the only nit was having to ask for refills on water. Highly recommend, if we lived here we would go here a couple times a month for sure.

I will confirm the great reviews. The food is excellent and spiced to your liking. Portions are good and service is efficient and friendly. If you have a craving for Indian food, this is the place to be. Fyi: no alcohol is served.

Tried The Coriander for the first time and I’m honestly blown away. The food was absolutely amazing with such rich, authentic flavors. I ordered the authentic butter chicken and it was hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life perfectly spiced, creamy, and full of flavor.

The garlic naan was dripping with butter (in the best way possible) and the rice was light, fluffy, and cooked perfectly. I also tried the goat vindaloo, my first time ever having goat and vindaloo, and it was a solid 10/10. So incredibly delicious and flavorful.

Portion sizes are generous, easily enough for two people. If you’re looking for truly authentic Indian food, I can’t recommend The Coriander enough. Absolutely amazing from start to finish.

Solid Indian spot in Victoria. We ordered the lamb biryani and butter chicken—both were hot, delicious, well-spiced, and very generous in portion size. The restaurant was quite busy when we visited, which speaks to its popularity, service was perfect despite this and our water was always refilled. Server was personable and warm. Overall a great option if you’re craving comforting, flavourful Indian food.

Visited this red based on the reviews and was disappointed. This restaurant is over rated. The food is average and not extraordinary.
We ordered-
1.Kids butter chicken rice- the butter chicken was bitter. It tasted like tomato puree with no taste of cream or any spices.
2. Prawn masala – average taste
3. Chicken Tikka masala – average taste
4. Tandoori roti- This was good because it wasn’t burnt like most other restaurants. It was big, soft and very well cooked.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! This authentic Indian restaurant blew me away with every bite. The portions were generous and such great value for money — you can truly taste the care and quality in every dish. The cheese and garlic naan was pillowy soft, fresh out of the oven, and packed with flavor — easily the best I’ve ever had.

Now let’s talk about the Malabari prawns — WOW. Mind-blowing is an understatement. Rich, aromatic, perfectly spiced, and cooked to tender perfection. Every bite was a flavor explosion that transported me straight to the Malabar coast.

We also had lamb, which was beautifully cooked and incredibly flavorful. To top it all off, the lassi yogurt drink was divine — creamy, refreshing, and the perfect balance to the spices of the meal.

From start to finish, everything was flawless. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine that satisfies the soul, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!
