It tastes really bad. The scallops are salty, oily, and sweet. Imagine combining maple syrup and scallops, two delicious food together. Plus, seven such scallops cost $21! (Before any tax or tips)!
Moreover, the fish cake is very loosely made, it almost decomposed into powder-like pieces when we spooned it up. Still this fish cake takes us $24 before tax or tips…
I do not recommend this restaurant at Alma at all. Other restaurants I have tried are better at Alma.

The Lichti
We loved everything about Tipsy Tails! It has such a great vibe with very welcoming servers. We were quickly sat on the patio along the railing which overlooks the fishing harbour. With our own eyes we literally watched the water levels drop. We enjoyed a local pint or two and took in the views. The boujee fries are amazing!! As was the lobster roll. We are already planning a trip out East again next Summer and Tipsy Tails will for sure be a spot we visit again while in Alma.

Great food great service. Jeremy our server was really friendly and welcoming. The Chowder was full of seafood and the perfect portion size. Very flavourful. It was nice sitting on the patio as well. Thank you!

Fantastic charming spot in Alma! We came for lunch and were warmly greeted by Jeremy. We all had lobster rolls which were delicious 🙂 highly recommend to all who are passing through.

We love Tipsy Tails and make a special visit at least once a year for a seaside lunch. The patio is especially nice with an awning for shade and closeup views of the fishing boats that bring fish, lobster and shellfish fresh to your plate. Lobster roll for me and haddock fish and chips for husband with chilled Pinot Grigio and a local craft beer. One of these days we will try one of their enticing desserts. Highly recommend!

The lobster roll is delicious on a locally made bun. We had the bougie fries, a poutine, and sweet potato fries; they were cooked perfectly and hit the spot.
But the chowder was the real show stopper!! The best chowder I’ve ever had!! It is a must try.
The owner was so welcoming and helpful and made our experience wonderful.

We just visited Alma and had our lunch here. We had a large group and they accommodated all us inside the restaurant. Restaurant has nice views of the water from the patio. Food was great. We enjoyed everything.

Sitting on the patio basking in the sun and watching the tides rise and the fishing boats come in, couldn’t get better than that. Jeremy, who is the owner, was also our server for the evening and we had a great time chatting with him, a fellow Ontarian. He’s done a great job with this establishment, great location, great vibes all around. I loved staying in Alma, and dining here was the cherry on top.
I had the lobster Mac and cheese and my husband had the seafood chowder. Both were so delicious! The local beer was also very very good!
