First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Whether you start at the crack of dawn or not, we’ll leave that up to you!

What else can be said about “First Watch” that isn’t already known to anyone who’s ever eaten there? Great food, Excellent (and speedy) service, Good decor, and Not too hard on the wallet. First watch is a great spot whether you’re bringing the family plus grandma and granpa or just stopping in solo to grab a quick bite to eat before hitting the road for your next appointment. If you’ve never eaten there I advise you to plan on it for your next breakfast or brunch… Thank me later.

Elizabeth was friendly and attentive and recommended a couple of seasonal plates that were next level delicious. We got seated quickly even though it was pretty busy. We will continue to happily come back and enjoy this great restaurant.

Great service, wonderful waiting team, meal offerings are fantastic while the ambiance could solidify the experience. Prices even in the current economy are at fair market value. Seat size could use some consideration. Love the place and highly recommend to anyone, family or dating occasion that would appreciate a great brunch. Will be returning.

Tried First Watch for the first time yesterday and loved it so much I came back again today! It was extremely busy but they run like a well oiled machine and we were seated within 10 minutes. Both times our server was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!

Stopped here for breakfast. No wait to get in. Seated immediately. I ordered a Tropical Sunrise. This juice has a mango, pineapple, strawberry, and lime. Sweet with a kick of tart.
I ordered the Hacienda Hash. Nice serving size. Very good. Our server took great care of us. I look forward to trying other items on the menu.

Kenwood First Watch has truly become our place, and it’s entirely because of the people as much as the food. We’re a big family — five kids under eight (and expecting one more!) — and from the moment we pull into the parking lot on Sunday mornings, we are made to feel completely welcomed and cared for.
We barely have to walk all the way in before the staff is already expecting us, looking for tables that can comfortably fit all of our littles. They remember us. They remember our family. They even remember our orders — which, with a crew our size, is no small thing. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and it means more than they probably realize.
Audrey, the general manager, always greets us with the biggest smile and makes us feel genuinely happy to be there. Beth also always stops by our table to say hello, even when we’re not seated in her section. That kind of warmth and consistency creates an atmosphere that feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed by friends.
Of course, the service alone would be reason enough to keep coming back — but the food is the cherry on top. Everything is consistently delicious and cooked to perfection. Our family favorite is the traditional breakfast, but the waffles are absolutely amazing, and the biscuits and gravy are top-tier comfort food. What really stands out is how we feel when we leave. At other breakfast spots, we often walk out feeling gross or disoriented. That never happens here. We always leave feeling satisfied, happy, and ready to start our day.
