From the beginning we were warmly greeted with plenty of seating options. The staff were diligent, attentive and timely.
We had a person with coeliac disease (gluten allergy), and the staff made sure to alert the kitchen. They confirmed with us how the food would be prepared with no cross contamination and processes.
Food was presented beautifully and also came out in a timely manner. There were no long waits but there was enough breathing room to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. We never felt rushed.
Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended. /10

Food is closer to a 4 but views decor and service are a solid 5. The almond coulant was the highlight of the menu. The steak was super tasty (aged for weeks) but came in a bit cold. Book yourself in the terrace to enjoy the amazing views. There’s a quite steep staircase to get to the dining area.

I was really suprised with the place in a very positive way: quite a creative approach to dishes (especially local beef with small accompagnements that you need to roll and taste all together) and smoked tuna carpaccio – wow! I really discovered some new stuff for me as well, for example, osso bucco from a very special and very fat part of tuna. The service was super good and friendly, with a funny and easy approach, and as well super fast. And last but not least – the place itself, the terrace is really beautiful. Obviously not a regret!

A culinary oasis in a most unassuming place with impeccable service. Everything we ate at El Rais was realization of divinity. Everything was cooked to the perfection, not 10 seconds less not 10 seconds more; retaining juices, tenderness and the whole flavour. They didn’t ask how I preferred my meat; and I forgot. Then I realized they didn’t forget but they serve it as they believe it needs to be served. I ate my meat medium rare for the first time after a long time and loved every bite of it. We ordered starters in the middle to share with different oortion sizes to be shared between 4 people and different cooking times. Everything came arranged and in sequence! The service was like a pre-set banquet menu!
Folks, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and I am only hoping they will neither drop their standards not increase their prices or covers they can serve comfortably. I am saying this because they have a lounge area which they can put more tables but this will strain kitchen operations. However they might change the lounge seating area and let more people enjoy unobstructed port view by moving tables at the back to that area, and lounge chairs to where those tables are at the back and/or upper section. Just my two cents.

A wonderfull restaurant, great food, excellent service and resonable prices ( price / quality ) combined with astonishing views. We have been coming to Menorca for years and have only just found this amazing place but we will definitely become regulars.
You may ask why only a 4 when I give such a good review, well it was due to difficulty in finding a parking space and, a more casual interior when compared to other restaurants but that was ok for us
