Food was amazing and all fresh. Hubs has high expectations and kept groaning at his food he thought it was so good. They love the crab cakes and the scampi butter with my filet was phenomenal. Service was very good. Big group area in the back, outside tables if wanted, there is a bar area and then standard seating.

Absolutely amazing! I was so excited when I seen this place because there used to be one in Portsmouth and I loved it then. Food at this place is excellent, drinks excellent, service excellent. When you cut into crab cake just lumped meat (see video) and seasoned to perfection. The layout and decor of restaurant was nice; I could definitely see where you could reserve for private dinner or party. Even though a little distant from where I live, I will definitely be going back!

We eat at Dock of the Bay at least once a month. It is my favorite seafood place. I have never had a bad meal. My favorite is scallops, they are large and tasty . We were just there last night for Valentines Day . We couldn’t have gone to a better place.

Not too busy so we were seated fairly quickly. The broiled crab cake with fries and slaw was very enjoyable. My dad had the oysters, and not a bite was left. The server was kind and efficient. The restaurant was clean though the restroom needed a bit of tidying up. It’s definitely a pleasant place to have lunch.

Went for a work gathering. The service was outstanding and flexible for our group. Food was well executed. Wait staff was quick with refills and taking new orders for our stragglers. I couldn’t have gotten better service if it had been a party of two.

What brought us here were the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops. 10/10 highly recommend! We also had the boiled mini crab cake app, broiled flounder topped with crab imperial, and the fish tacos we will definitely be going back!!

Wonderful meals. Great wait staff. Our server, she knows who she is, is FABULOUS! I’d share her name, but I’m going to be selfish because I don’t want to compete for her service. Just know you’ll have a HOLLY jolly good service with whomever waits in you. Highly recommended.

Shrimp Scampi with Roasted Potatoes and Applesauce
She-Crab Soup
The shrimp scampi was flavorful and well-prepared. I truly enjoyed that dish. Unfortunately, the roasted potatoes lacked seasoning and tasted quite bland, even missing the basics like salt. The she-crab soup was just average. Not bad, but not particularly memorable, either.
While I appreciate the effort that goes into every dish, I do feel that the pricing doesn’t quite reflect the quality of the overall meal. With so many dining options available, I’m not sure I would return, especially at this price point.
