Halal guys is the BEST!!!! I went on a Saturday morning, and was greeted by smiles and excitement. The employee that took my order was mighty charming! 😉 and guided me through the menu options to cater to my taste. (Zain) was very patient with my all my questions and made the process super easy. The whole crew was very warm and welcoming and took the time to have an active conversation with me. The cleanliness of the store was impeccable also. Overall, the food was amazing and the portions were very generous!! I would definitely rate this establishment a 10/10. What a bang for your buck!! If you’re thinking about coming here.. DO IT!!! And order a combo platter

I order 2 smallI ordered two platters from here on Uber Eats, but they cheated and sent only one platter. When I called them to ask why, they told me to contact Uber. But what will Uber do? Uber just delivers the food! When I asked for a refund, they refused to give my money back and said they can’t help, only Uber can.
Just ridiculous — nobody should ever order food from Halal Guys again. Such dishonest people!

I came in on Wednesday around noon for some lunch, and it was my first time at this location. The service was amazing. The young lady who helped me was smiling the whole time, very friendly, and actually took the time to talk to me, which I really appreciated. I came back today hoping for the same experience, but the service just wasn’t the same. I really feel like all employees should give that same level of customer service. Hopefully next time I come in, she’ll be there. As for the food, it was good, and the portion sizes were fair in my opinion.

After my workouts, I regularly visit Halal Guys and usually order the regular platter. In the past, the quantity of chicken and gyro meat was satisfying and aligned with the value of the meal. However, over the last few visits, I have noticed a significant reduction in portion size, especially in protein, which makes the meal feel less worth the price.

When I politely mentioned this to the staff during my most recent visit, the response was argumentative rather than helpful. I believe customer concerns should be addressed professionally and respectfully. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I genuinely enjoy the food and would like to continue being a regular customer.

“I recently visited this location of Halal Guys in Chicago, coming from Tucson. The beef gyro was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Although the traffic was heavy, it was definitely worth the visit for the amazing food . When i will come next time i will definitely stop by here again.

This location has been here for quite a while and it shows. This was my second time here and service is still good. Food is very consistently good as well which I appreciate.

Chicken Shawarma
Sriracha falafel
Beef Gyro

Eating on premises here is a good idea. This type of food is meant to be consumed fresh and tastes so much better compared to when you take it go.

Be sure to ask for extra white sauce which is their specialty.
