Applebees. What can you say? In years past they have had kinda generic menus with the same types of stuff, but recently we went in Helena and were pleasantly surprised with the large selection of new choices that were very reasonably priced. We settled on the grilled cheese cheeseburger and it is very good. It comes with french fries with salt and pepper and cheesy bread for the buns. It also comes with delicious tomato soup for dipping the sandwich and the fries in and it is good, and there are a lot of other choices.
We had two of our three girls with us and the other thing that’s good about going on Tuesday night is that the kids meals only cost one dollar on Tuesday night only, so Tuesday happens to be a good night to go for families. But regardless it is not a horribly priced place and we were impressed with the food recently. We recommend! Good job staying relevant Applebees!!

Okay so first of all your parm and garlic wings ewwww. Second I want to warn people about how they like to charge for things you didn’t ask for. Look at your receipt unless you like getting ripped off. Third for the amount of money you guys are charging you could put some cushion in your booth seats. My spouse and I both had wood for a chair. Pretty pathetic guys you need to step it up and do better. I will say our waitress was pretty good she was new but she did a good job

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit tuesday night.
Although the wait time was reasonable, and our server was great, hearing how people were talking was upsetting.
Shortly after receiving our meal, we overheard a nearby conversation involving jokes about cocaine and having “the hookup.” With only a few other guests around, we didn’t think much of it at first, but a few minutes later we realized the person making those comments was actually the manager.
Things became even more concerning after we left. As we walked to our vehicle, we noticed the same manager crouched down in the car next to ours, appearing to be engaging in the very behavior he had been joking about. When he realized we saw him, he looked startled. I made a brief comment, and his casual response only reinforced how normalized this behavior is.
This kind of conduct is vile, especially from someone in a leadership role and because of this experience, we will not be returning to this Applebee’s.

The hostess Peggy is extremely rude. She is the 1st person you see when you enter the restaurant. She should be greet you politely and be kind. To be fair the restaurant was busy. With that being said she is the face of the restaurant which doesn’t say much about the her. If she can’t handle the pressure she should find a new job or be placed in a non customer service area. The food was good the waitress was great a younger tall blonde gal. Sorry never got her name. As far as Peggy she needs a new job where she doesn’t interact with people.

I was tryin to order online amd was gettin frustrated, so I had to call the store, and come to find out it was turned off, due to short staffing. (No biggy) Anyway JESSE had 2 lines ahead of me, I was put on a brief hold while he finished helping them, (again no biggy) I was able to place my pickup order with him easily. He was absolutely so helpful with my questions, and tryin to do all the things. KUDOS TO YOU JESSE FOR THE ACCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! 2-11-26

The food was DELICIOUS. The steak was cooked to perfection, as you can see. The burger was perfect as well. The service was excellent. Could not have asked for a better dining experience.

My wife and I have been coming here for ages and it usually is pretty standard Applebees service, cheap drinks and good food. But last evening was absolutely unbelievable. Our server was extremely rude, she didn’t make us feel welcome at all. We were brought to the right of the restaurant to the second booth. Typically when we sit on that side of the restaurant we receive fantastic service. Our first interaction with her felt very uncomfortable. We ordered our drinks and my little brother ordered a Shirley Temple. She brought the drinks and as you would expect the Shirley Temple had cherries, but very little grenadine. After dropping off our drinks she charged off to do god knows what. As she only had three tables in her section. After a while she returned to take our order and this is when we truly experienced her unpleasant attitude. My little brother ordered a sirloin steak and she was very hostile regarding his sides. She gruffly told him the sides were on the menu and he became anxious and couldn’t make a selection, her energy became very even more hostile. Almost as if he wasn’t making a selection rapidly enough. Finally he selected garlic mash potatoes and fries (yes double potatoes because he was so uncomfortable with the interaction that he just went with the fastest option). As he is a 13 year old boy, he drank his Shirley Temple quite quickly. She came back and completely disregarded that he may possibly want a refill. Instead she tore off again to do god knows what, because as I stated her section was not very busy at all. When our food was brought to us he didn’t have his fries. He asked about them and she tore off again, which was kind of irritating because he had also wanted to ask for steak sauce. But felt like he didn’t have time to express the entirety of his needs. As she returned with the fries he asked for the steak sauce and you could see she was visibly annoyed with him. Mind you, he is a 13 year old child. She returns yet again with the steak sauce and didn’t stick around to see if anyone desired anything else. Which he was quite upset about because he also wanted another refill. She returns much later and he requested a refill and she responded with, it will be a few minutes. She returns much later with another Shirley Temple and low behold it has no cherries and very little grenadine yet again. She was rude regarding every bit of our needs and requests. She didn’t bring us any waters, my wife was missing a dipping sauce for her wings, my friend ordered a salad and there was an ungodly amount of onions on it. He spent most of his time removing the onions because they were very overbearing and largely chopped. When he asked for a refill on his water she became snappy and stated it looked like he had water already. I have never had a server be so rude to us before. Our bill was almost $100 and it was kind of a bummer to pay that and feel uncomfortable the entire time. I’ve served at multiple places and bartended as well. It’s not hard to be nice to your customers. I hope the manager has a talk with her. Because she needs it.

I was honestly pretty disappointed. The chips and salsa looked great but really just weren’t good at all. The French onion soup was an eh. It was not hot, the bread had soaked up the majority of the liquid which kinda ruins the whole soup aspect, the cheese was too thick, but it had a good flavor. I got riblets, but I can’t judge to harshly on those I guess… I didn’t eat very much of it… However, I did LOVE the broccoli, but I’m biased on that account. The Mac and cheese was fine. As for the service, well it wasn’t the best. Our waitress was polite and all, but she wasn’t very attentive. There were only six customers in the whole restaurant, including the two of us, but she still spent almost the whole time in the back and rarely came to check on us, even though she had said that she would be right back to check if we needed anything. All in all, not a great experience.

We had an appetizer during happy hour,(half priced appetizers),to find out,after we ordered, was all appetizers EXCEPT the appetizer Platter,which we ordered …I think they purposely leave that out the advertisement considering the Platter is 18$…fine, so be it, it was good but I like to have things more straight forward than back doored I had steak, my spouse had endless wings..steak was spot on but the wings were just glorified chicken nuggets..way overrated and overpriced for “boneless” wings, aka chicken nuggets good flavor on the garlic Parmesan but other flavors were more like a dip at McDonald’s…bring back bone in wings…they are better…boneless seems so lazy and chicken nugget like .. adult drinks were good but bottom heavy,after stirred ,they were weak..service was good and place clean…overall it was ok but Applebee’s needs to use more quality ingredients on some things…
