If you like real Indian food, stay far far away from here. Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe it. The tea, watery with no complex flavors. Their gravy for the curry’s watery, no flavor (even with spicy) other than tomato. The butter chicken, was most definitely Not butter chicken. Watery and well just sad. The naan was doughy and undercooked.

This was terrible. Never had watery curry before. No flavors, no spices. Calling it Indian food is a stretch. “Naan” appeared to be just scorched pitas, salt laasi was like coconut milk with a cup of salt thrown in. Was hoping for a local source of the stuff, but I’ll have to keep driving to Sherwood and beyond.

We tried Golden Sparrow food cart in Newberg a couple of weeks ago. Food was excellent, as good as some Indian restaurants we have tried. Had 3 entrees, an appetizer and garlic naan. There were enough leftovers for dinner the next night. We plan on going back soon.

A very tasty stop on our day in Newburg. I’m glad there’s some variety in town and this food pod does not disappoint. Fantastic tikka masala and biryani!!
