This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place. It has an old type of decor that kind of takes you back in time to the 90’s.
The Special Combination Pho was plain and tasted watered down.
The chicken salad was okay.
The # 28. Salty, Spicy Shrimp and Steamed rice was nothing but sweet. Tasted like orange chicken sauce. Was not salty and definitely not spicy.
Service was okay. To be honest with this type of food, I’m shocked it’s still opened.
The best thing about this place was, well, the Sapporo.

I’ve been eating at the 777 for decades ever since it was a little restaurant across the street next to the old fire department Reno and their large Xe Lúa was $4.95. Although the ownership has changed the past 5 years, qualities of food and service are still as great as I remember. My friend’s and the owner Don is friendly and professional. The best Asian restaurant in downtown full stop.

This place is awesome … had the number 21 noodle dish on the menu and it was amazing. Place is busy usually and fro good reason so they pack ’em in a pack ’em out but the service is great. Definitely worth visiting.

A Hole-in-the-wall, for sure, but I like this place. Food is tasty and portions are good. I’ve had a dish or two that I didn’t care for, but I made a note of it and haven’t reordered. Harrah’s casino used to be across the street but this restaurant is holding up well without their patronage. Good food!

Another reviewer wrote ‘ a no frills spot’. No frills is right! I have zero issue with that as long as the food is good, and it was really good food. we had a steak pho and a lemongrass chicken curry dish. when we went every table was full and there was a lenghty take out line. staff was super busy so not as attentive but no one seemed to mind. the food came out quick. the broth was amazing and the rice was full of flavor. i’d go again and take friends.

Don’t let the exterior or the neighborhood fool you – this place is a find! It can be busy, so be reassured if you have to wait a bit – it is worth it! It isn’t fancy but the food is delicious and the prices are great for the amount of food you get. We ordered way too much, and everything was really good! I wish we had found it earlier on our trip so we could have gone back again!
