Visited Burger Theory for the first time in January and absolutely loved it!!! I got the Sheriff Burger and Buffalo Fries and loved every bit of them especially the Fries! Really good pricing, small but nice atmosphere! Really friendly staff and quick service. Couldn’t recommend this place enough will definitely be returning!

We were greated when we arrived and told to sit anywhere. Our drinks order was then taken and have reviewing the menu for a few minutes the server took our food order.
The food was excellent, the home made sauces were a great touch. The burgers were juicy and full of flavour.
Highly recommend and will return when visiting Bristol.
The restaurant had WiFi issues so couldn’t play music which I feel was needed in a small place. However, this was resolved half way throughout our visit which did creat more atmosphere.

Burgers were amazing. Tasty, good amount of portions, fries with right level of crunchiness, not too oily. Beer were good as well. I was expecting a larger range of tap beers or ciders. Service was friendly, just waited a bit too long for the food.

We had a fantastic visit! The burgers were absolutely delicious and the service was great from start to finish. A special shoutout to Elliot, who was brilliant with our children — he brought over colouring and even got down to our daughter’s level to chat with her about her picture. It really meant a lot and made our meal so much more relaxed and enjoyable. He’s a real asset to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back!

Asked for a well done burger because I dont like pink meat, but it was very over cooked, border line burnt. Unfortunately the halloumi fries i had with it were more batter than cheese. Too much batter. Kids ate for free which was a nice touch though.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Yes, it was one of the best, because the patty was cooked properly; not burnt, not raw. Properly cooked, a bit pink inside. The bun was delicious, homemade mayo and ketchup was yummy, the onion rings were super crunchy. The service was very fast and friendly. Fries were a bit pricy and don’t come with hamburger, so that’s the only thing I can add.

Served by a friendly member of staff who was keen to be funny. You can tell he seemed to enjoy having a little joke when he took orders to make the atmosphere enjoyable. Food was quick to arrive and tasted really nice. Cocktails were absolutely amazing! Highly recommend ‘The Dude’ it was a lovely cocktail inspired by The Big Lebowski film. Only deducting a star as the tables were really quite close to eachother, which is fine for some but sometimes it can feel like your dining with the table next to you when you can hear their conversation clearly.

Pricy but nice food. We went at lunch time and also got the Groupon voucher. The food was really good. We got the Sheriff burger, Mac and cheese croquettes (really recommend!) and the chicken bites which were too hot for me and I could only manage a couple. Still tasty though!

The food was absolutely amazing, probably the best burger I’ve had in Bristol. They were super accommodating with food changes and preferences. I booked a big table for a surprise birthday dinner and they were super helpful, we brought a cake for them to bring out with candles and they went the extra mile by decorating it for us. Cannot fault them!
