Wow!! I absolutely loved the Old Chicago Chopped Salad and the amazing creamy herb dressing!!! Gotta find a copycat recipe asap. Please note though, it’s quite spicy. The kids’ menu mac and cheese, yogurt, chicken and fries were also great! Mac especially! Vanessa did a wonderful job taking care of us!

Fantastic Pizza and Service at Old Chicago in Hays Kansas
My recent visit to Old Chicago Pizza in Hays, Kansas was excellent! We tried the Father’s Daughter Pan pizza, ordered as an individual plate, and it was surprisingly plenty for two people—a great value! If you’re a pizza lover like me, you absolutely have to try this place out.
Beyond the delicious food, the dining experience was very comfortable with plenty of booth seating available. Our waitress was super sweet and incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
I highly recommend Old Chicago Pizza for anyone looking for great pizza and top-notch service in Hays!

So I got to say we chose those restaurant proximity to our hotel but that was impressed with the selection of food and drinks. We ordered the fried pickles ( delicious and great flavor) to start and the service was phenomenal. If you get a chance ask for Chance as he throughly impressed my fiancé and I.. I had a calzone which was so delicious and flavorful. My fiancé had the buffalo wings and enjoyed them. But seriously get Chance as your server and you will have a wonderful experience here.. we will be back on our next time coming through

Got dinner hear on a road trip. Was really busy but the service was still fast and the employees were very kind. Food was great, wings were very good, Nashville hot is SPICY! Good drinks good prices I CANT COMPLAIN! Highly recommend, deserves a better rating than it has now… also bathrooms were spotless

We stopped mid-afternoon on a Friday. We had the southwest chicken salad and the fish & chips. The salad was very good and the fish was okay. The coleslaw that came with the chips was very good. We topped off the meal with the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. The server said it comes with either chocolate or caramel drizzle. I said we’ll take both. She said okay! They had an awesome selection of draft beers. They also have a full bar. It was a good choice on another road trip.

We sat at the bar and very much enjoyed the bartender company as well as the locals around us. Games were on TV. The drinks were alright and the food pretty decent. Not bad for a quick stop, especially if you’re overnighting in a nearby hotel.

There were 7 in our party, no drinks, except a couple of pops. The place was fairly empty, except for the baseball team. We expected to have to wait for food. Orders came, I had ordered a grilled Caesar salad. When I received it, it was covered, with regular croutons. I had to move the croutons, to see the chicken. There wasn’t any parmesan cheese. So I asked the waitress for cheese, which she brought. I should have asked for a knife, as the chicken was tough, and ha4d to eat. was very disappointed in the salad, mostly because of the overwhelming amount of croutons, almost like they were hiding something. I did ate the salad, but left the croutons.

We order a Chicago 7 pizza just like it was listed on the menu. The pizza was raw. When we complained the waitress told us she could put it back in the oven to reheat it. Yikes gross and unsanitary! The manager told us when you order too many things on a pizza it can cause it to be raw. However, we ordered it as it was listed on the menu with nothing extra. Basically we were getting blamed for their mistake. For this very reason your waitress didn’t receive a tip and we will no longer visit you all again! We are traveling and you waisted our time while at the same time not taking full responsibility for your mistake.

My wife and I were on a road trip, and planned a night stay in Hays, KS. We decided to have dinner at the Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom, and we were impressed. The food was excellent, but the service was extra special. Our waiter Chance was outstanding. He was attentive, but not overly so. The one thing he said on several occasions was, “Is there anything I can do better?” Great place, great service! Don’t pass it up!
