Automatic tip so waitresse gets lost doesn’t check up on you. Drinks are cheaper than competition around so that’s good. Food was a mixed review had platinum stuffed repair rieja which was cold but plantain was fresh which is good.

She was attentive, friendly, and highly professional, making sure our table was comfortable and well taken care of at all times. I visited this restaurant not long ago. This place is great, not only they have a friendly and professional staff, their food is amazing. I also loved the atmosphere, the decoration and the designs on the walls give you a 60s vibes. The outside has a large bar and seating area from which you can easily enjoy the live music playing from the stage of the mall in close proximity. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t regret eating here, oh one more thing, the food portions are enormous

Miami has countless places to enjoy a great meal, but none compare to Metropol. I visit at least once a month and always have a wonderful experience. The staff is exceptional—warm, attentive, and welcoming—especially Janu. Every time I dine here, I truly feel like part of the family. I would also add a shout out to the kitchen staff, I like the food from this location more than the locations in PR (which is also good), but the seasoning here is ALWAYS on point.

Affordable drinks compared to other spots. Host was good. Waitress was terrible. Put our food in and then continued to talk with her friends, it seems. She basically brought our drinks and kind of dashed them on the table and then disappeared from working our table. A guy brought out our food. Super nice. Looked okay. Got the tostones with ropa la vieja. Tostones were good. The meat was warm at the top and rest of the food cold. The waitress is nowhere to be seen now. My fiance wanted to close out. Didnt see her. Finally, she was behind the bar. My fiance raised his hand a few times to get her attention. Ignored. Then a guy working the floor, finally came to our table and asked what we needed. Told him we wanted to close out. He, said no problem. Then he told the waitress. She sent the bartender. We got the check. 18% gratuity was already added for a waitress who didnt work our table. Waitress was a woman with reddish hair. Didn’t seem fair. Improvement suggestions: get better waitresses or change the tip system.

Delicious authentic food. Well seasoned. Restaurant was clean. Nice simple decor. Our server Carlos had great customer service skills and his recommendations for menu items was spot on. The fresh squeezed lemonade tasted like limeade but I absolutely loved every sip. I enjoyed my entire meal. When I’m back in the area I’ll definitely be back.

This place definitely brought me back to Puerto Rico! I ordered the Mofongo Churrasco and the Empanadilla carne and washed it all down with a medalla cerveza. Everything was excellent! My sever was wonderful and gave me a few recommendations with the food. Next time I am in Miami I will def be back!
