I stopped in for a late dinner on a Sunday night. Not many people were dining in, but they had several pick up orders. They could have paid more attention to the counter. I ordered from the kiosk because no one would wait on me at the counter. The staff member that brought my meal out was was polite. The food was good. The restaurant seemed clean and had plenty of seating. They also have LOTS of USB charging ports and electrical outlets available, should you need a charge for your devices while you eat. A good experience overall.

Extremely Disrespectful Experience

We had a very disappointing experience at the McDonald’s on 151st in Carmel/Westfield.

We went through the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate chip cookie tote (the box with 13 cookies). The young man taking our order repeatedly responded with “a what?” in a rude and dismissive tone, even after my husband clearly repeated himself. When I tried to clarify the order, he interrupted me mid-sentence with “oh yeah, yeah, yeah” and rushed us through.

The cashier who took our payment and the young man at the next window were both polite and professional. Unfortunately, the employee who initially took our order came to the third window with a smirk, accompanied by another employee who was also laughing. Their behavior made us uncomfortable enough that we decided not to eat the cookies and instead went inside to request a refund.

Inside, the manager was hesitant and not particularly helpful. While I was calmly waiting for the refund to be processed, another employee (the young woman with long braids) loudly said, “They’re just being assholes.” I clearly heard it. When I addressed her directly and asked why she was calling us that, she denied it and laughed. It was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.

I informed the manager that her staff had just insulted us. She acknowledged hearing it and simply said she would “deal with them,” but there was no apology and no real effort to correct the situation.

We were not rude, loud, or disrespectful at any point. We simply requested a refund because we no longer felt comfortable consuming the food after the employees’ behavior.

This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable. If you’re looking to be treated poorly and insulted by staff, this location would unfortunately be the place.

Very disappointing experience.

Absolutely amazing speed of service, quite frankly, 10× better than the taco bell across the road. If I had to pick one restaurant to eat at for the rest of my life it would be here. McDonald’s i am certainly lovin it. Bu-da-ba-ba-ba.

I used my app to order and went in to pick up. They forgot my 4 piece chicken nuggets. We were pulling a trailer and didn’t realize it until we were back on the road so we didn’t turn around.
The fries did not taste very good. Everything else was okay.

I would rate them a 5 because I go at least 5 times per week. I like the service and the staff is friendly; but, I love playing the McDonald’s Monopoly game and I keep ordering from the game piece menu and I’m not getting game pieces. I understood the large drink but today ordered a breakfast sandwich which was on the Monopoly game menu and it didn’t have a game piece either. Bummer!

Had to use drive thru twice to use points on the app and then an app exclusive deal, since you cannot use both on one order. Got the window both times and felt awkward and made of fun by the young woman at the “pay here” window. She laughed directly at me after giving me my receipt both times, and she started to say “he…” and the window closed the first time. The second time she kept the window open slightly longer and I hear her say “he came back through” while acting like it was the funniest thing in the world. Idk if it was my looks that she thought was so funny or me using the app, I can’t tell ya, but it was extremely rude to laugh out loud at a customers face and proceed to talk to the other employees about them as your leaving. As I am writing this it literally just happened maybe 5-8 mins ago, around 9:50pm on Wednesday Feb 18 in case management reads these and actually wants to narrow down who it was. I just say make her more respectful to customers or people will just down to Noblesville McD’s. Otherwise than that there was a nice Mexican-looking man handing out the food at the other window and he was extremely polite and respectful with a big smile, commendations to him! Only reason I felt like I would just go through one more time even though it would be awkward. He was very nice both times.

10/10/25: I mean, it’s McDonald’s. I didn’t treat us to a five-star establishment, and I got what I paid for.
The food was edible, not greasy, and everything we ordered, we received.
I know it’s a low bar, but it’s not fine dining. Perfectly acceptable.
